Raval Usha MD

I am an RN and went to see Dr. Raval. As a member of the medical field I can tell the difference between doctors that care about their patients and the ones that don’t. Dr. Raval demonstrated an extremely poor patient care manner and I am looking to be switched to another physician immediately. She refuses to properly examine me and acted annoyed when I asked for additional lab work I wanted completed. Overall horrible experience with her. Would NOT recommend.

Went to see Dr Raval for the first time yesterday. Came 10 mins before my appt time and only had to wait maybe 3 mins after signing papers. The ladies at the front were nice and spoke clearly.
The nurse who took me to my patient room was friendly, and nice as well. Only had me in there for about 5 mins and then Dr Raval was ready to see me.
She was great. I came to see her as a new patient with 3 different health concerns I wanted to discuss. She was very helpful, and knowledgeable. Also suggested I come in for a physical so she knew exactly what was going on with my health. So I have another appt with her next week.
So far very satisfied. Will update my review in a few months.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Raval for several years, but switched doctors because of a friend talking up her wonderful doctor, but that was a big mistake. I didn’t realize the quality of care I had with Dr. Raval until I went elsewhere. She’s kind, through and gives great suggestions on keeping healthy. I’m not a fan of flu shots, and she didn’t push me on getting one. Plus, it’s not impossible to get an appointment with her like some other doctors. Providence is a solid medical facility and I appreciate the quality of care I receive from Dr. Raval and her staff. If you need a primary doctor, Dr. Raval is the one. Plus, I received my lab results the same day my blood was drawn.

After switching doctors every year or so due to moving I finally found the perfect one in Dr Raval. She’s professional, her team is well organized and I recommend her to all my acquaintances.
What I like most is the app they have that allows me to plan visits and reorder prescriptions. Let’s say you are not feeling well on Sunday night. You open the app and can claim a spot on Monday morning as early as 8am! Finally a doctor’s office who gets that we live in a digital age :)
Parking is easy there is a dedicated lot right in front of the building. Over the years I have gotten referrals to specialist through the office including a dermatologist that is on site once a week. So far only thumbs up from me.
I was also seen by Dr MacLeod during a vacation from Dr raval. Similar vibe, she’s professional and kind.

Although this doctor appears helpful, she is gaming the system to over charge the insurance companies by ordering test unknown to the patient, or requiring additional office visits.,(e.g. sharing results of normal blood test etc.). Her office staff is friendly, but incredibly incompetent with coding bills in which they will never get corrected — costing the patient time, money and effort that is truly unnecessary due to errors. Much to my surprise, I have found she has done this to other patients as well. STAY AWAY.
