OK, so I’d like to preface my review with 2 factors — one, Unilocal reviews are usually for something extremely positive or extremely negative, and I choose to review places that impress me. two — im a dude reviewing a women’s clothing store… so please bear with me.
Tris Manhattan Beach single-​handedly saved my sister’s birthday (at least on my end). I was looking for a last minute gift at MB village and i walked into the store, mainly because I saw a «sale» sign and the mannequins looked «fashionable.»
I was greeted by one of the sales girls, I believe her name was Ally, and she asked if i needed any help. I told her about my situation, and she helped me find a gift for my sister. We ended up choosing a Free People sweater but i the MB store didn’t have the size I needed. Ally went ahead and called her manager who was at their West LA location, and guess what — they had the size there. Ally said that the manager was going to be at the MB store ~2:00pm and that she would bring me the size i needed! I left her my phone number and I went to grab a quick lunch.
About an hour later, I get a call from Tris MB and the manager brought the size i needed at my convenience. The girls were helpful and they made my life easier. Win win in my book. Most chill.
Btw, my sissy loved the sweater.

Tris has the worst possible customer service! I had bought a blouse for my daughter only to get it home and the security tag was still attached. I went back to the store with the blouse and receipt in the same bag and told the sales associate that I needed the tag removed. She checked the receipt and called for the manager. The manager asked to see my i.d. They removed the tag however did not once apologize for leaving it on. When I stated that the garment did not indicate how to wash it they both gave me a different answer at the same time. Their attitudes were horrible. i’m sure they won’t last long with continued customer service like this.

This place has no customer service what so ever! I walk in for a sale posted outside, while browsing 2 employee walked and look at me and then look away ok unnecessary. I did not get greeted or help by the girls walking around looking at their own merchandise. Now I know why there’s no one in the store. Management might want to step in!
