I took Carla’s massage class on a Saturday and it was a great experience. She goes over technique but also stance, posture, and mindset. It also helped that she was super nice and patient. It was like learning with a friend. I thought it be great to go over some of the techniques by getting a massage myself and I haven’t had time to relax in a while so I also booked a one-​hour massage and Carla does a great job. The studio was warm, comfy, and had the perfect ambiance. I’d come back again if I’m in the area!

Wow! I don’t know why anyone would ever do eyelash extensions or buy Latisse ever again! I got Amazing results with the eyelash lift and won’t have to wear mascara if I don’t want. It used to be my essential for even no makeup days… never left house without mascara. Carla is wonderful and so caring and just as excited about seeing the results as I was. I have done cupping with her as well to help detox and stimulate circulation. Anywhere in LA is worth the drive to Manhattan Beach! The keratin eyelash lift is supposed to last 6 – 8 weeks. Omg yes yes yes The Express Tan! Just got it yesterday (she was running a special just this month — 2 for $ 49) and my appt was at 2:30, was done by 3pm (she is fast and thorough!) and showered at 7pm. Cannot believe how natural golden I look. And the 4 hours before showering I had no stickiness and nearly no odor (I smell tanning spray a mile away!)
Today I took another shower and not one dab of brown came off on my white towels, and, furthermore I look like I went to Hawaii (in a good way!!) and ZERO smell.
Am so stoked for my next visit. Carla is the BEST!

It didn’t take me long to find Tropical Breeze Studio near me in Manhattan Beach after I searched Unilocal,Groupon, and Living Social for a recommended deal on custom airbrush spray tanning. With a Living Social voucher, I paid $ 19 ($ 29 value) for an organic, full-​body airbrush tan. The studio also provides a VIP punch card with a «buy five, get one free» deal.
I had an upcoming wedding in two days. I expressed to owner, Carla, that I wanted to look naturally tan, as though I had carefully sun-​bathed for a few days. I figured some bronzing would help to minimize the appearance of scattered bruises and spider veins on my legs and really make my red dress pop. I wanted to enhance the «wow» factor of wearing red without looking unnatural. An obviously artificial tan or too deeply bronzed look can spoil a great party dress.
Carla prepared the solution, a popular organic formulation called Norvell Pro. The specific blend she used for my skin type and tanning goal is called «Venetian.» (Here’s more information on why so many prefer/​choose Norvell.) Carla then sprayed every uncovered part of me, including my face. When she sprayed my face, she instructed me to close my eyes and hold my breath. As noted above, inhalation risks remain unknown. Thus, despite following her direction, I still felt some anxiety throughout the entire session. While the tent is well-​ventilated, it is still misty. My worry isn’t great enough to forgo spray tanning, or even to avoid direct misting to my face, but I think wearing a small mask over my nose and mouth is a reasonable next step.
Two airbrushing rounds took about 20 minutes, followed by a five-​minute drying session with a device much like a luke-​warm hair dryer. Carla explained that the extra drying step is not routinely done and helps to minimize run-​off onto clothes. And she was right!
At the end, I had exactly the look I was seeking: a beautifully-​toned, even, streak-​free, and sun-​kissed glow. For the next week, in particular the first few days, I received a lot of comments on my «bronzed» skin. My color lasted a full eight days before I noticed any fading, and I was pleased with this life span because Carla had appropriately set my expectations. She offered some pearls of wisdom, like avoid bathing for at least 12 hours after the spray (I waited 36 hours, by the way), and explained that I could expect the tan to last up to 10 days if I followed them.
Surprisingly, unlike my experience with over-​the-​counter and Mystic self-​tanner, the tan dissipated relatively evenly. While getting ready for bed on day eight, I noticed some blotchiness on my inner thighs and hips only. At that point, I still looked lightly sun-​kissed, but the tan had run its course. And for the next two days, I exfoliated with a gentle poof while showering to lift remaining product. Until next time, airbrush tan. After all, I have a VIP card to redeem.

The studio is in an office building so it’s a little difficult to find. It’s in the same building as illusions nail and hair salon, but towards the back. Carla was great and instantly made me feel comfortable. She was also able to schedule me super last minute for a spray tan. She’s very professional. I’ll definitely be back.

I saw Carla for a 90 minute massage and I’m afraid she’s ruined me for ever seeing anyone else. I’ve had massage all over the South Bay for the last 15 years or more and she is by far the best I’ve been to. She gave me the exact pressure I asked for and made me the most relaxed I’ve been in a long time. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a seriously good massage.

Carla is the beeeest!!! Her office is soooo welcoming, tranquil and private. Came for the organic airbrush tan and I feel FABULOUS! I’m a golden goddess glowing from head to toe the solution she used is South Seas, used by «Dancing with the Stars» cast. Ohhh lalalaa Very simple process, she uses only the best in the industry. I felt very comfortable with her. She played calming music in the background. I will definitely come back again! And refer her to my friends n family! Carla provides absolutely flawless service, both spray tanning and massage! I contacted her the day prior to a photo session and she was very responsive, fit me right into her schedule, and made sure my spray tan was perfect! I have used spray tans for many years and without hesitation, I will be going back to her. Trust her and you will love your results!

As soon as I walked in the door-​i felt instantly relaxed! The front office smelled so good, calming music was playing, and Carla was waiting. She is the owner and the one who did my 60 minute Swedish massage. I found this place through Amazon Local, and i’m so glad i did!
I had a ton of knots in my back and my shoulders and she really worked to get them out. She applied just enough pressure that i wasn’t left in pain afterwards. Other massages i’ve gotten are too rough on my shoulders that it’s hard to relax and then it just hurts after. With Carla-​I genuinely felt SO relaxed!!! She is sweet, professional, and provided a great massage! I will definitely be going back!

Just had my first deep tissue massage from Carla tonight, and I am in heaven! She did such an amazing job on my knotted up body (shoulders especially)! My hubby surprised me with a Massage at Tropical Breeze Massage yesterday. I wasn’t sure what this «surprise» was going to be when he started leading me through a business complex. Tropical breeze is a tiny place, just a front office and one room for massages.
Carla was great! She is a teeny little thing so I wasn’t sure what to expect but the girl has strong hands! She worked all the knots out of my back! She checked with me periodically to make sure the pressure was good, that I was warm and comfortable.
