I called Jose Ayala based on the reviews here as I have a deck above my garage that needs to be properly waterproofed. He came out promptly and promised to get me an estimate. I never got an estimate, even after calling once to check on it. Not sure why he wasted his time and my time!

Water-​proofing is incredibly important and doing it right and complete above that. Westcoast waterproofing did this for me at Venice Beach (major termite area) and an excellent job with building a 12 X 20 balcony with high quality materials and craftsmanship. The complete job was done in 5 days.

My fiancée and I recently bought a town home. The balcony needed to be resurface, the previous owner did a horrible job including not securing the railing. I called Westcoast and spoke to Jose. He came out that same day and gave me an estimate. He was always available via phone and text. He was professional. He told me the job would be done in 4 days and just like that 4 days total it was. Even when his welder was out of town he was able to find me another person, which he did a great job securing the railing. Jose even drop of twenty dollars after I pay him because the new welder was charging more than what he originally had quoted me. That was very nice and professional and honest of him. I’m very happy with the work and you won’t be sorry to hired them. Great job, great service, and very honest.

Long Beach, CA
We live in Long Beach in a 1930’s house with flat roof and a deck above the living room. A leaky deck. The regular roofers either came and looked then left, didn’t bother to return calls or in the case of one, came out, told me he couldn’t look at it because he ’ didn’t have a ladder ‘, this despite the ladders on his truck. Finally a good roofer (Marlon from Strictly Roofs) came out and told me I needed to get a Waterproofing Specialist. Called Jose Ayala who came out at the end of his work day, looked, measured showed me the layers involved in using Desert Crete and gave me a good quote on the spot.
Our deck was in dreadful condition but there were no complaints they came out and worked hard. This during the World Cup too !. There was a small delay because the City Inspector was sick and missed a day but again no complaints from Jose.
He and his men were polite, self sufficient and did a beautiful job and we have no qualms about highly recommending them.
