We just returned from an event at this catering hall. I gave it one star since I could not give it a minus 5
The hall is beautiful, but the food, service and bar were awful. The details are as follows:
1. I first ordered Black Label Scotch. It was obvious that there was cheap bar scotch in the bottle. This was also true of the bottle marked Chivas Regal. When I ordered Amaretto De Saronno, it tasted like the amaretto heavy syrup flavoring one gets to add to coffee. When I complained to a female manager, advising that I was planning to report it to the State Liquor Authority, I was offered a bribe of a sealed bottle of scotch which I refused. I will be making my report in the morning.
2. The food at the cocktail hour was mediocre at best, but there was a large selection.
3. The main courses were poorly prepared, overcooked and tough. The steak was loaded with fat and gristle. The service was horrible. At least 5 different waiters appeared at one time or another to retake orders from our table of 10. We were table number 9 our of about 200 plus people, but were served last.
4. There was absolutly no supevision of of the dining room.
5. Many other guests shared my observations noted in 1 thru 4 above.
Note…This catererer uses other business names, so be cautious.
Do not even consider eating here. It’s the worst catering experience I ‘ve had in more than 40 years.
