Raymond is an excellent counselor. I have been working with him for over a year now and his thoughtfulness and tenacity helped me to overcome many fears and unlock understanding of my past traumatic experiences. His counseling allowed me to smooth my adjustment as an immigrant in New York and greatly helped in the gradual process of self-​acceptance as a gay young man. His thoughtfulness and understanding of the complexities of my life experience speak volumes of him not only as an expert but as a tremendous human being. Over the past months I have been honored to work with him together as a volunteer for the No More Fear Foundation aiding LGBT asylum seekers to find acceptance and safety in this great Country.

Just what the neighborhood needed! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Aldea. I started going a few months ago with my husband for couples counseling with Hilda. She is warm, open, and a talented clinician. I was not sure my husband would engage in counseling, but he now looks forward to our sessions more than I do.
