Upper West Side, Manhattan, NY
This tiny watch repair shop is in Suite 22R of 20 W. 47th St., a storefront with multiple jewelry and watch repair counters. Enter the main entrance and walk all the way to the back of the complex, then take a right, and it is the penultimate store to the left (just before Precision Watch Repair, which is where I was originally going but opted for Aponte when I saw a line at Precision). I needed a watch battery replaced, and Osvaldo (Ozzie) was very courteous with a rare smile (especially on this street) and pleasant small talk. I had a new watch battery in about 3 – 5 minutes and paid only $ 10 (cash only).
Will definitely head back here again and refer friends.
