I have a great Pyrenees and let me tell you. He sheds like nobody’s business. I took him him for a grooming and a small trim. Just a little off the top. I was so impressed with how his grooming helped with his shedding. I also appreciated that they didn’t shave him down but gave him just a small trim. He’s back to his beautiful, white, fluffy self. Thanks, guys! You are the best in town!

It’s a wonderful, family place that our dogs love. My only complaint is we suspect our dogs love it at the Pet Resort more than they do at home. Their excitement every time the car gets close to the Pet Resort is the best review of all.

I’ve taken my dogs here many times for boarding and grooming and they have always received good care. They have great prices and accomodating dates for service. This kennel/​daycare/​groomer is conveniently located by Manhattan airport. Large property lot for dogs to run around and play and there staff is very friendly.

They all know the name of my dog when I walk in and we are only there every couple of months. They work with the needs of the dog, whether being inside behind the counter or in the kennels. I’m very impressed with Wildcat’s operation.

Really dig the Wildcat. I am not sure what to expect from a Doggie DayCare/​Boarding, but figure that when my puppies jump out of the car and run inside that this is a good sign.
The owners and staff have always been very helpful and the dogs like them. Only drawback is that if the staff is all in back in the kennel area they often do not hear the door open and I have to wait for a minute. (Of course the puppies have never minded, so this may be a moot complaint.)

I like Wildcat Pet resort and so does my dog. I’m a fairly new dog owner. I’m not sure what nuances of pet boarding/​doggie daycare set one business apart from the other, but I know these things for sure. They:
#1 Have pets, love pets, and knew my dog’s name by the end of her first visit.
#2 Keep costs down to $ 10/​day for daycare and ~$ 17 for overnight (I don’t do the overnight often enough and it’s not on their website). There is a $ 5 discount if you bring your pet in 5 days/​week ($ 45 instead of $ 50)
#3 Have an online reservation system
#4 Have different dog run areas for different sized dogs
#5 Supervise play time four times a day
#6 Share a location with a pet groomer
#7 Are conveniently located less than 1 mi from the Manhattan airport
#8 Are friendly folks
#9 Make sure all of the animals are vaccinated
#10 Are my dog’s favorite companions when I’m away. She is always super excited to go there.
So take it for what it’s worth. Maybe take your dog also.
