Bodhi Photography – Headshots By Denise

This was my first time getting professional photos taken and I was a little concerned that might show, but luckily it didn’t since Denise was so friendly and inviting. She’s really great at giving direction and making sure you get the most out of your session by giving pointers like what to do, wear, and makeup.
Denise was awesome to work with. I’m really happy with my headshots and would definitely recommend anyone who needs professional photos to go to Denise!

To say I’m camera-​shy is an understatement. There’s a reason my Unilocal photo is a gargoyle. So I knew that coming up with a corporate headshot would be a bit of a challenge.
Enter Bodhi Photography, aka Headshots by Denise. From the first phone call, I knew I was in the hands of a true professional. Denise gave a clear summary of what to expect and explained the kinds of things that would, and would not, look good on camera. At my photo shoot (haha, I enjoy saying «my photo shoot») her directions were easy to follow and right on point. She clicked away for over two hours to produce not one, but a dozen images I would be happy to use to represent my business persona to the world. (I’m sticking to the gargoyle for Unilocal,though).
Denise was prompt and responsive — I met with her on a Monday and had a generous handful of perfectly retouched photos by Friday morning. Prices are reasonable, too, considering the amount of personalized attention you’ll get.
P. S. Denise also put me in touch with makeup artist Anny Chow for the session. Anny was a pleasure to work with and a master of that subtle look that says, «I’m not wearing makeup, just super healthy and unusually radiant.» Highly recommended!

I’ve worked with Denise several times. Coming off the tv shows The Bachelor and Bachelor Pad (ABC, 2012) I decided I wanted to get into modeling and tv hosting. The first thing I needed was a professional head shot.
Although I had filmed and been on-​camera for hours and hours, had former photoshoots, etc., I stilI needed guidance. I was more than impressed by Denise. She was very patient and helped me position myself in a way that made me look great in my shots! She’s very approachable and has a very strong work ethic. Her attention to detail is impeccable — and that’s just what I needed for my headshots!
It’s been about a year since our first shoot together. With my professional headshots taken by Denise I’ve been able to book modeling gigs with Dolce and Gabbana, Ester Lauder, etc. I’ve appeared in print and commercials nationally. And, I am living out my dream as a TV host as I’ve hosted several business events, red carpet events, charity events and fashion events!
I couldn’t be more satisfied with my photography work with Denise! I highly recommend her!!!
