Please do yourselves a favor and find another endocrinologist. My review is only of Dr. Schwartz and not of the staff, which by the way were very courteous. Dr. Schwartz provided me with a completely thoughtless and apathetic response to my medical issue. He more or less told me that everyone is different, and my body just doesn’t create certain hormones, so I should get used to being on medicine for the rest of my life. I gave him a 2^nd chance to revise his diagnosis and asked for a more thoughtful response, but was told that this is the best response he had for me.
Please, if you are sick and looking for help, go and look elsewhere. Do not waste your time or your money with Dr. Schwartz and do not get me wrong, Cornell has a plethora of capable and competent doctors. Obviously, I am not the only person that has a poor opinion of the way this man practices medicine, but you can find better at just about anywhere.
