This is a great class that combines theory and practice to a high degree. It’s the best place I’ve ever trained. Joy is a highly skilled teacher who knows how to work with students of all levels. It’s also an amazing workout! During the weekend there are also music classes that help students push themselves to be well rounded capoeiristas.

Professora Joy is one of the most special people I know, and I am lucky to be able to train with her. She always motivates and inspires her students to be their best. She is an incredible teacher and I have learned so much from her. She always makes everyone feel welcome, as do the other members of the group. Definitely give this a try. You’ll be hooked before the end of the first class.

Fantastic workout. The varying level of skills among the people training increases the motivation to keep training and improving. The Capoeira Brasil group has an extensive network of members throughout the US, and I have had the opportunity to continue training in different cities while traveling for work.
