I was strolling down Elizabeth street and was immediately drawn in by the beautiful window, totally unaware of the brand. Upon entering the store I felt the brand was french only to realize it had a french feel but the functionality and durability a U.S. brand.
I knew I wanted to buy something but wasn’t sure what I wanted. The sales person showed me a vast collection, but not once was pushy or salesy — she gave me practical advice.
I ended up buying a wallet that day, but ended up changing my mind and getting the tropezienne old fashion tote — perfect summer bag. The exchange process was flawless and I am still smiling.
I would highly recommend both the products and the experience.

This location is managed by very snobby and arrogant staff who make you feel unworthy of their mediocre product. They have negative customer service and are actually insulting. The products are sometimes ok, sometimes less than ok, but you can find equAl or better products in many other shops while staff actually offer you assistance and appreciate you spending your money with them Avoid Calr V in New York unless you like abuse.

Makes Dumb Husband feel smart. Great, sweet help! I came in for a birthday present for my wife and was clueless. The ladies in the store had me on the right track in seconds and I was out the door feeling great. And it was gift wrapped!

This place was the exact reason why I hesitate to walk into boutiques sometimes– snooty. Was here in June and had an absolutely horrible experience. I have to agree with the first reviewer. I was disappointed. The sales lady ignored me and I felt uncomfortable asking for help. I had just bought a bag online and I wanted to inquire about monograms. It looks like this place may have improved and I really hope it did.

Well I’m happy to say I had a drastically different experience than my fellow reviewer. This little shop is immaculate and has a huge selection despite it’s small size. The shopkeeper who helped me was the sweetest girl ever. She took her time to really help me and make sure I was finding bags that suited my style, and leant actual good advice, versus so many sales associates who say «it all looks great! You should buy both!» She reminded me of the things you need to think of when purchasing handbags: will it get dirty easily, does it close easily and quickly, where does it sit on my shoulder, etc. I left very happy with a very beautiful bag for a very reasonable price. I wasn’t previously a CV customer but will return again for more service like this.
