Today June 12 I had a food poisoning. I had California Club sandwich and a cheesecake. Horryble abdomen pain, diarrehea and vomiting.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Manhattan. Their Sunday brunch is excellent.(Only served on Sunday’s, btw) When I first moved here, multiple people told me the places that had the best biscuits and gravy in town. The Chef, Early Edition… Etc. While the aforementioned restaurants are quite good, Coco Bolos takes the cake. I have had B&Gs from around the U.S. and none have come close to those which are served at Coco Bolos. Couple this southern staple with their homemade Bloody Mary and you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Coco Bolos has never disappointed us with food, drinks, service, or atmosphere. We’ve been back again and again, definitely one of our top 3 favorite restaurants in town. They have great margaritas and«bloody bolos.» I couldn’t even tell you what my favorite dish is, I’ve liked everything I’ve had here! The heaters even make the patio great in the winter.

Best Mexican food I’ve had in Kansas so far. The waiter was very nice, there was good seating, it was nice and clean inside, my mimosa was yummy, my cox burrito was SUH good. So many good spice/sauce/cheese/veggie combinations in that thing. I’m Loco for Coco Bolo! One thing I would suggest they adopt is chile con queso and maybe a little wider selection of tacos.

Any place that serves a «Tijuana Trainwreck» HAS to be good, muchachos! I had to try one. That gooey mass of melted magic was a taste extravaganza. Good sized portion as well as good salsa and chips. I’d return if I was ever back in town. It was not Tex-Mex, which is my favorite, but served up good tasting Mexican food, nonetheless.

This place could entice you to come on in by the smells alone. In case you couldn’t guess, it smelled delicious, both inside and from the outdoors. You may find yourself having to wait until a table opens up but it’s well worth it. Get a sangria, mixed with red and white, and you will not regret it. Everything on the menu looked good, but I ended up splitting the tostado salad which they split for us on two plates and was a generous portion even at that! Our server was great… she was attentive and friendly with a sense of humor. Would love to go back in the summer for the patio seating!

Good place overall! Friendly staff, quick service, nice atmosphere, and great food above all else! We tried the nachos which had good flavor and the crab quesadilla. The jalapeño dressing was what really set the dish off! I’ll be back to try more.

Not your typical Mexican restaurant. A lot of twists on traditional dishes. They try to bring a lot of unique flavors to the plate. Beware that the taco shells are corns unless you ask. I was worried about going here in the winter since the majority of the seating is in patio area. However they had it sealed and space heaters going. This is definitely a summer spot though.

We love the food here and each have our«usuals.» The steak salad is fantastic as is the enchilada plate. This restaurant would easily get 5 stars if they would do something about the endless supply of flies in the summer and the occasional poor service. Usually this is good but last time we were there we were left waiting for 10+ minutes for drinks.(They could also use more booth seating near the front of the restaurant.)

The food was great. Big portions and two full stomachs. The margaritas were good but not worth 5.25 $ a piece. Would recommend it for sure

Coco Bolos is one of our favorites in Manhattan. Whenever we’re in town, we prioritize going there for dinner. I think my favorite menu item is Capt’n Jimmy’s Seafood Tacos — the portion size of these isn’t huge, but it is definitely enough for one person’s dinner. My husband always orders the Stacked Enchiladas and he adds the egg(con huevo) — this meal is one that could be split. It comes with a LOT of food. Yesterday, for the first time, we tried the Bbq Shrimp Po’boy which will probably become a regular on our list of favorites. We have also had the Cox Boys’ Burrito which is HUGE and tastes great. We have never found an item we didn’t like! If you’re going for dinner, especially on a weekend, it gets busy and you may have to wait. There isn’t a great space in the restaurant to wait, but it is worth it. The ONLY thing that i wish was different is that they charge for chips & salsa.(This is also the only reason I am not giving it 5-stars).

If you were to ask me what I miss most about living in Manhattan, my answer would be Coco Bolo’s, HANDSDOWN! I have dreams about the cheesy heaven that is the Coco’s Q. No matter where I go or how hard I try, I cannot replicate this dip! The top is browned and bubbly but once you get past the top layer you are greeted with creamy flavorful goodness. I have yet to order a dish I didn’t like. The portions are large, the food is fresh, and the prices are reasonable. My favorite is the black bean and crab quesadilla, it’s great all on its own but the jalapeño ranch steps it up a notch. My fiancé has only experienced this restaurant once and still raves about the enchilada stack. This place is a must when I’m in town and I often joke to my fiancé about making the 3.5 hour trek to just eat here. However, I’m only half joking, I really would drive here just to get my fix!

Solid food. Stopped in today for lunch. The Mr. had the tiajuana train-wreck. Really liked. Had a lot of meat mixed in and a good balance of beans & all the fixings. I had the lunch special — pork tacos with pineapple salsa with navajo rice and bolo beans. Great dish. Definitely a great spot!

This is one of my favorite places to go for Mexican ! It not only has Mexican but seafood, and vegetarian options as well. Great atmosphere inside; you can watch the chefs cooking, and outside on their patio is perfect for the warm weather. I would definitely recommend going there to someone.

First and probably only Unilocal review. I wouldn’t order from here on wildcat 2 go. Especially after 8 o’clock I guess. My meal looked like a child threw it together. Got the jerk chicken wrap… won’t be trying it again.

This place is located right down the street from k-state in Aggieville and is defiantly their best kept secret ! I always love coming here for a pitcher of sangrias, some black bean salsa and Caribbean BBQ shrimp. They whole restaurant is warmed by a wood fired grill that is pretty cool to watch them cook on. The wait staff is extremely friendly and the bartender is always great company. The place feels like something that you would find on the beach and not in the suburbs of Kansas and the menu items are always original!

My favorite place in Manhattan! A fantastic blend of flavors & eclectic menu. Great bar — I recommend Long Island iced tea, my favorite. Also, the combo sampler is a mix of their homemade salsa, guacamole and out of this world original cheese tip. They have everything from tacos, salads, pizza, pasta and much more, all with unique flavors in a fun atmosphere! Also, if you like dessert coco bananas are amazing!!! Some deals if you go for drinks after 10 pm. My suggestion would be to go without kids, it’s a date night kind of place. Small with fantastic food and an amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are ever in Manhattan.
