i am not surprised with the horrible reviews i just read. i had a very important and time sensitive document shipped from brazil. the package was «misdelivered» by dhl last friday and i am still waiting for the package to be tracked, retrieved and re-​delivered to me. very disrepectufl custumer services, they dont call back to give updates. i was even told it was «just a mistake»!!! aftre more than 10 call no one either apologized. i had huge loss so far due to this and will look for leagl action. !!!please dont use dhl!!!

There is not a single nice thing I can say about the company. I requested 4 times with random confused employees to leave my package at the station not just have it ride around town with a driver that no one knows the name of. Terrible, inefficient company. Really offended they service to USA. Def not up to American standards.

I don’t know about the print or delivery services here, but I think many of the ratings here may not be representative of the services as a whole. Shipping is an easy industry to hate on people, and hard to get people who are happy with their service to spend the time posting a review — very biased in that way.
I came here to ship off a keyboard to be returned, and the staff present were both friendly and super helpful. One guy had just come back from getting his lunch, and didn’t hesitate to put it down and ignore it the entire time they were helping me get my keyboard wrapped, boxed, and ready to ship.
Easiest shipping process I’ve ever had, and great staff.

I was so nervous about my package for my daughter’s party coming from DHL services especially after reading all of these reviews. Now that I have experienced DHL customer service first hand and their delivery service staff I can say that I am extremely happy today. Customer service was very helpful and my delivery was on time as stated by the estimated delivery date. I am starting to think that the stealing of items people have mentioned on here and the fake delivery attempts are at random and are true. Although, my experience was different from everyone else’s on here today I still will not be using DHL ever again. I don’t like this feeling of having to worry if my items coming from China will be stolen or fake attempted delivery. When the item was on hold (30 minutes from my house) I started worrying so I called and that was when customer service assured me the delivery was going to def. be here today which it was 4 hours later about 5:30pm.

There’s no reason for DHL to operate in the U.S. They are far far behind in service, features and locations that it’s more convenient and faster to use the U. S postal service. Their only New York pick up is by the west side highway and the service is very slow. Nothing like spending your friday night waiting for a package.
I would not recommend it for anyone.

We have had several packages stolen by the couriers that work for DHL.
They fake the signature, and then never deliver the package.
This has happened twice this year.
We are reporting DHL to the State Attorney general.
Do not use this service, they are reckless, and criminal at the end of the day.
If you want your products lost and stolen, this is an excellent service.

dude i dont even kno. why was the driver so passive-​aggressive w/​me like the notes we exchanged back and forth were so weird… and lots of promises made that my fragile heart couldnt take being broken… still waiting on a package 2 weeks after multiple rescheduling calls, what a headache… DHL makes even babies cry… and I hate the color of their polos

Put in a request at 7am to have a package held at the station, and yet there’s an attempted delivery at 10:30 PM that day! When you call up the computer system asks for the number and verifies they have the right number and yet the person had no access to this! Furthermore, they purposefully muffle the phone so ‘Oh sorry I can’t hear the number you’re saying, good luck!’ This place is the worst. To add insult to injury midtown is the only place to pick up packages in Manhattan. I hate writing negative reviews but this place sucks.

JENNIFER «S.» Won’t give me her real name because she gives the most horrible customer service imaginable!!! Definitely won’t be using this company EVER again!!! My expensive package was signed over to some random person in my apartment lobby who’s name isn’t even on the apartment!!! They told me that they didn’t issue refunds and kept dodging questions as to why was it signed for by another name and told me to contact the company I ordered from (Who doesn’t issue refunds.) As if it wasn’t a mistake on thier part!!! «JENNIFFER» (Brooklyn location) was rude on top of everything and not understanding of thier error in the slightest. When I first asked if I could speak to a manager because my package is a month late I was hung up on then she finally spoke to me after calling and not giving up. WORST COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME.

I called today July 15, 2015 at around 11:10am spoke with a customer service rep named Christine, and then her supervisor named Monica. Explaining my situation that the 3 attempts that my package was delivered, 2 out of the 3 times that was impossible that the attempts were made because someone was at my delivery address on the 2 attempts, and that it was impossible that the delivery person attempted to deliver because not even an intercom call was made to my apt on those 2 times.
Mind you, when I had called I was a bit frustrated and informed them that I was because I was promised yesterday when I had called customer service that my package would be delivered to me today. They both spoke to me with an abrasive tone, telling me that I was wrong, and that they had done right on their end. Is this the way you treat your frustrated customers who are trying to fix an issue that you guys are responsible for?
I called you guys yesterday and you told me that my package would be delivered today, so what did I do take the time off to work from home, but when I tracked my package this morning, to my surprise to see it is on hold at the station. That’s already 3 times I have been lied to by you guys, and because your supervisor Monica was so rude to me, I requested to speak with another supervisor, and then she said she would transfer my call but then had me on hold for 30 mins, and I even took a screen capture on my phone for proof.
This is not how you run a courier customer service business at all or to even run a business. To hire such rude disrespectful customer service reps to handle issues. The last I checked that is what is in their job description, and what they get paid to do. If they can make a living being that rude, and speak to customers in such an abrasive tone, DHL you guys need to re-​train your staff, and start firing people because this is how you lose customers.
I am beyond frustrated and disgusted by DHL’s protocol for customer issues. By the way, I am still on hold, and Monica still not attended to my call or forwarded my call to another supervisor as she said she would-​32 mins-​unbelievable. KUDOS TO DHL, this is the kind of arrogant people you guys hired that tend to your issues. This is a general review for DHL Express service– not a particular location… They have the worst customer service! The people In the call center have NO knowledge of anything– and can not help– you have to sit around and prey some one gives you a call! Do not use them! Really bad service! And delayed delivery every time!

this is my first post ever:
so to put a long story short I have been waiting for a package that I really don’t even care about this much for WEEKS. First attempt at delivery — they left notice saying they were coming back Friday. OK — I signed my name to leave package, well they never decided to come back. SO I went online and typed I my WAYBILL number and reschedule another delivery time — nothing. I put my email in, my phone number, everything I could do and I heard NOTHING from them. SO finally decided to call and speak to someone to find out «oh mam I am sorry but you reached your maximum delivery attempts» when in reality they attempted once. the first time. best part is when I typed in waybill number and looked at tracking history it said right there on THEIR WEBSITE that they have attempted delivery ONCE.
worst company ever — I stayed late at work — to sign up for Unilocal and write this. they are the worst.

Worst courier service ever they were supposed to deliver my package 3 days before and I didn’t get it till now. When I call customer service they keep on lying saying they will deliver within a day sometime they say 12 pm again 5 pm then 8 pm and finally next day and it keeps on going to same 12,5,8 next day. Full of lair. I kept on saying I have time sensitive documents but they keep on lying again and again. Never gonna use this service again. I used DHL 3 times for getting some stuff from home and all 3 times I had to go to their warehouse all the way on the west side to get the shipment. The last time was the worst. A notice was left asking for signature. Then another notice was left just above the place where I left the first notice though I had signed it. And it happened a third time. I have to again go to their storehouse to get my article. Very disappointed with their service. Never again. I think FedEx is the best for sending stuff to Manhattan.

dhl had to entirely ruin the west side landscape by painting the building «taxi cab» yellow. even though that unfortunately is their company colors, they never should have been completely clueless that they reside in a highly visual up & coming area of nyc. they are totally inconsiderate of everything which should hopefully make an intelligent person go elsewhere!

I really don’t wanna give them even one star. I was supposed to get a delivery 2 weeks ago. But its never come. Yesterday, finally I could connect with them and asked them to deliver it tomorrow. However they delivered it yesterday night to my office ! Are they pulling my fucking leg?
Never use this company. You might lose your delivery.

This continued to be a nightmare. Though I requested Wednesday morning that they leave it with the super (the day after the weird message and the seller saying DHL «couldn’t find me»), I received another notice of attempted delivery on Wednesday, again with «consignee address closed.» I signed the notice, authorizing them to leave the package and left it on the building’s inner door Thursday morning. Thursday, around 1, I’m out and see that the status has been updated to «attempted delivery: recipient not home.» I called and told them that I wanted them to leave it and had left the slip. They said they were reattempting delivery. So I get a call on the train ten minutes before I get home with a rude girl telling me the driver is there and can’t get in the building because the super isn’t answering. How is it that UPS, Fedex, and the Post Office can all get in buildings to make deliveries, but not DHL? I tell them I will be home in ten minutes, just leave it, try other buzzers. She said they need a signature. I tell her the slip is right there on the door.
The punch line? I get home ten minutes later, and someone is moving in that day. The doors to the building have been propped open all day, and the new resident is in and out every couple minutes. And there is a «final attempt» slip pasted to my apartment door, (in the building, on the third floor).
I called several times Thursday trying to get a redelivery, and was told they have «refused any further deliveries.» I have to go do DHL’s job for them, as the other reviewer stated. These people are a sickening combination of incompetent, lazy, and dishonest.

What kind of service claims they’ve attempted delivery 3 times yet they never ring my doorbell (I would know, my doorbell is LOUD and I was home ²⁄₃ times they came), never even leave a notice on the door, then make YOU go on an hour-​long commute to pick up the package that THEY’RE supposed to deliver?

2 dollars for 10 minutes of Internet. Hah. Douchebag working in the front who got upset when I asked him if there was a notary nearby, shaking his head like I was an idiot.
Rude customer service? Overpriced goods? F***********ck no.

Postal Connections is the best ever for my shipping and logistics needs. They provide full service pack-​and-​ship for my monthly deliveries, and they do it fast and perfectly every time. When I call them for a delivery, they are at my office in 5 minutes max, and like magic, my huge shipping project going to a zillion locations is as good as done. I trust Postal Connections completely. Their service is awesome and they are friendly and cool people on top of that.
