We love the team at Dog Days and our puppy literally starts pulling us to their door when he senses that we are nearby because he get’s so excited. We send him there for day care and boarding and he always comes home happy. The space itself is bright, clean, and has cute bean bags and small chairs for the dogs. I would highly recommend them to anyone — We are so glad we found such a great place that we trust!

Lots of natural light, friendly staff, they walk the dogs outside on a regular basis and it’s fun. Basically, they treat your dog exactly how you’d want your dog to be treated. My dog is happy every time he goes there, therefore I am happy.

I have been sending my dog to Dog Days of NY for over 2 years for both boarding and doggie day care. It is a wonderful place — my dog gets so excited when he sees the door! Dog Days has the best employees! You can tell they all really love dogs. The space is great — high ceilings with lots of windows. It is very airy and light. They have a «doggie lounge» with bean bag chairs where the dogs can take a rest outside of the larger play area. When you board your dog, someone actually spends the night at the facility. This gives me great peace of mind. They also walk the dogs several times a day to allow the dogs to do their business outside. Your dog will love this place!

Update: we’ve been sending our dog here every time we need her to be in daycare, and they are consistently the best!
Took her today for a bathe and groom and they did a great job! It’s always nice to send your dog to a familiar place, and I can tell you that my dog is not the easiest to bathe!
We also did obedience training through Dog Days with Follow My Lead. My husky is stubborn as ever and through the training I’ve managed to teach her commands and get her to listen. most of the time ;) !

We just switched to Dog Days of NY. it’s clean and everyone there is very nice. I also love that the dogs can sleep in bean bags. I have used dog daycare at other places before and I love that this one offers an hourly rate if you become a member. There is construction on my apt so I like being able to drop my dog off at Dog Days of NY for a couple of hours while I run some errands. I don’t feel comfortable leaving him in my apartment when construction is going on. I would recommend this daycare to a friend!

Our dog was groomed here not too long ago and I must say that she looks absolutely amazing. Our dog (yorkie) felt safe and trusted the groomer upon first meeting. There wasn’t a wait time and the groomer I felt was very experienced and attentive towards our needs. I will definitely make Dog Days of New York a regular place of grooming for our dog and recommend the services of the groomer that serviced her. Cheers!

I recently moved from California and needed someone to look after my dog, a Kesshond-​mix rescue, who was rather anxious after moving. They really seem to understand dogs – took it easy on him and didn’t try to force him into anything he wasn’t ready for. They show you the entire place when you walk in, explain how they group dogs by temperament as well as size and answer any questions you have. I will be using them regularly.

They refused day care for my well-​behaved dog. He’s never hurt anyone, he’s never had any trouble at any other day care, and he’s been to every one on the UWS. They’re obviously inexperienced, disorganized and want to pick and choose their clientele. Good luck.
