For the love of God — why did no one tell me about this site sooner?
I spent two solid months on Craigslist looking for a place in NYC. I’m talking 2+ hours per day looking at every apartment profile. After weeks and weeks of frustration, I finally did an internet search for another apartment finding site.
came up and I signed up for the free service (eventually I upgraded to Premium, but at a mere $ 19, I saved a good amount in broker’s fees.)
After a few days I found the PERFECT place with a great roommate at an amazing price. The site is easy to navigate and provides a lot more in depth info than Craigslist.
Good for: those who need a place fast, those moving from another state who can’t go by an scope out apartments, those who are sick of getting excited about fatally flawed places (oh great location! laundry in building! oh wait, nudists welcome? shit.)
