I walked into the Fenwick Keats office on the West side. I stood in the lobby for 20 minutes asking for help. Nobody would give me the time of day. I was completely ignored. I went to Halstead, got an apartment, and the agent made 5,000 comission. Easy as that. Everyone was happy. Don’t waste your time with theses clowns. They are the epitome of unprofessional.

Its an amazing real estate company that not a lot of people know about. They do anything from a $ 50 million dollar sale to a $ 2,500 rental. Their corporate office on Park Ave is amazing. They focus more on the client then on their image overall image. Been in the business for 24 years, they know what they are doing. Lots of agents to choose from. All in all had a great experience dealing with this firm. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of working with Kathy Huang who found me a wonderful alcove studio apartment on 57^th street. Kathy went above and beyond to help me find the perfect home. She was very cordial and pleasant to work with. She also had a lot of patience in helping me choose the right home. Kathy’s knowledge about real estate is multi-​facet and it also was very impressive that she worked in finance prior to her job at Fenwick Keats this helped me further understand the mortgage process. She was also very informative and understanding of the CO-​OP package which made things very easy for me. She stayed by her word and looked for homes within my budget and never pushed to sell but only advised me into getting the right place. I can’t thank Kathy enough for her professionalism, expertise, and hard work in helping me find my home in Midtown East. I love my home, the neighborhood, and the community! I appreciate her help so much and am satisfied with all my choices! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kathy to any person who is looking to buy or sell a home, as well as seek her service in any of my future real estate transactions!

My fiancée and I worked with Greg Matsoukas at FKG when we moved to NY in August 2010. A realtor from a different firm we had found online had wasted our time our first weekend in the city, showing us apartments out of our price range and not fitting our criteria. Greg was serious about only showing us places that fit within our price range, neighborhood and amenity preferences. He lined up 7 apartments for us to see in a day, and we were able to secure a great one — and for no fee!

I worked with Joe Davila at FKG (the office on 79^th and west end) for an apartment. Joe had no real interest in showing apartments or answering my phone calls. He preferred e-​mails to communicate and his ‘laid-​back’ approach was bordering on disrespectful. I was looking specifically for pet-​friendly apartments and when I found one I liked I indicated clearly on my application that I had a pet. I applied, paid the $ 45 APPLICATION FEE, I was approved, and went to sign the lease… which specifically did not allow PETS. When I brought it to Joe’s attention he did absolutely nothing to clarify the situation with the landlord, etc. I’m lucky that I didn’t lose more money due to his negligence!

I worked with Nicolo who was too busy to show up for appointments and didn’t bother to apologize. I would never work with this company again.

I actually worked with someone from the office on Broadway and 80^th street but the web site is the same. Bill Felix was the broker, and he was great — absolutely no BS, no pressure, super laid-​back, knew the neighborhood, and we ended up in a decent, reasonably priced no-​fee apartment in no time.
Looking for an apartment should be as drama-​free as possible, even in New York. I feel pretty fortunate to have had such a good experience with FKG and would certainly recommend them. They are not as huge and prolific as Citi Habitats, but they also have many fewer typos and ALL CAPS in their ads, which is a small thing but one to be appreciated.

My friends have had some real horror stories with brokers (e.g. gave a deposit, then never heard from the guy again until they ran into him stumbling drunk down the street at 3am months later…) so I consider myself lucky. My broker at FKG– Greg Matsoukas, was a very sober and normal guy who found me an unbelievable apartment in the village. Only downside? Having to pay a brokers fee… but I guess that’s the price we pay for living in this city.

Worked with a really nice broker named Brian A. to look for a rental. He was incredibly patient and honest, showing me a ton of apartments. Even though none of them worked out, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
