This is a great off leash dog run. There is a lot of benches to sit. no grass though huge buckets of water to wash the pee dowb. I love it.

I like this dog park because it’s really close to my house and well maintained. While my dog prefers the gravel or clay floors, she still likes to come here to play fetch and run around. This run is a little on the smaller side and is kind of a funky rectangular shape, but that’s to be expected for manhattan. There doesn’t seem to be much of a regular group that comes here, and the crowd seems pretty diverse, but everyone I’ve met is friendly.

Not that bad, but no grass for your pup at this run.
Things it has going for it:
— Water for dogs
— Adequate seating for dog owners
— Plenty of shade during the summer
— Area to hose off your dog
— Good fencing, gates & entry area
— Portable dog pool
Things it has against it:
— No bathrooms near run for humans
— Parking (Its the same as all other dog runs in Manhattan for the most part)
— No separate large and small dog runs
— Very narrow
Its all concrete construction may feel a little too austere for some.

Pros:
Close to Chinatown
Pretty clean
Small enough to keep an eye on your dog
People are generally good about curbing
Cons:
Like most parks, people bring their dogs straight here so they poop and pee a lot
Some folks don’t pay attention and don’t clean up
It’s kinda dark at night, poor lighting
There’s a puggle there that’s kinda crazy. It’s owner doesnt follow the rules.
The second gate is poorly designed and you can easily lose your fingers when closing it.
Nothing stimulating for the dogs, just a flat area to run.
No protection from the rain.

This is a great off-​leash dog run. There is a lot of benches to sit, no grass though, huge buckets of water to wash the pee down. I’ve been visiting friends down the street and went here a few times every day with their dog. Everyone is very friendly as well as the dogs that go there.
