&fruit

My friend ordered a light dinner for us here tonight. The delivery guy supposedly got into some sort of accident, so the food took almost 2 hours to arrive (another delivery person was dispatched to collect and deliver his orders). I sincerely hope the first guy is okay, and this is of course a reasonable excuse for taking extra long on a delivery. That said, our yogurt arrived warm given that it had probably been outside in the heat for the better part of two hours AND no spoons were included (also: the plain 2% yogurt originally ordered was unavailable, and we were told 0% fruit yogurt would be substituted — with such a limited menu, it would be nice if they were able to keep the items they do offer in stock).
We also ordered 16oz of lychees. We received 10.8oz of lychees (thanks, handy dandy kitchen scale — see photo). The package was full — there is no way 16oz of lychees can fit in the size container they arrived in so I imagine everyone who orders this is getting 32% less lychees than they paid for.
The dried mangos we ordered (no size provided; $ 4) totaled 3oz, for anyone curious.
Cool concept, but overall, pretty displeased with my first experience with andFruit. I don’t fault them for the accident, but it could have been handled a bit better. Above all though, I don’t appreciate thinking I’m paying $ 7 for a pound of fruit when what arrives is well less than that.
