J’adore ce magasin, j’adore cette marque qui est assez difficile a trouver en France. Les vendeurs sont sympas et cool comme souvent à New York le magasin est petit mais bcp de références plus pour homme que pour femme

I’m a big fan of GANT especially their outdoor wear and cardigans from here. This place has all the right ingredients for a guy looking for a preppy and rugged look — think cardigan wool sweater, heavy chinos and goose down puffy vest. They have great service here as well.

Hands down the best service I have ever received while shopping for menswear. The entire staff was extremely courteous, namely RAJ and JEAN who both helped me with my purchase, and even shipped my items to NJ free of charge(hate paying sales tax)! The service you will receive here goes above and beyond what you will experience in most retail stores and department stores. Employees know their inventory and collection extremely well and promptly brought out various pieces in my size while making suggestions for pairing different items together. The quality and fit of the clothing itself is impeccable. I ended purchasing the«Doubler Coat» and it will serve as a wardrobe essential for years to come. Also purchased other items from their semi-annual sale, I already cannot wait for the next one! Again, I cannot say enough good things about this location. I was strictly a J. Crew/Club Monaco fan before, but I will be dressing in head-to-toe Gant Rugger going forward!

GANT Rugger is the brainchild of designer Christopher Bastin, a damned fine gentleman out of Sweden who looks like a mountain man and makes clothing like a genius. He seems to hit that perfect Americana/trad/prep/rugged aesthetic right on point, every single time. The store is set up in a long channel, with the beautiful shirts, chunky sweaters, and rugged coats lining the walls, and pants, scarves, hats, gloves, belts, etc. artfully littering the table running through the middle. Fairly classic boutique shop setup, but as anyone who has been to enough can tell you, it can be done right, and it can be done wrong. GANT Rugger has it right. While I could try further to describe the clothing, all I can say is that I truly appreciate the detail and quality of the work, and it’s durability. Too many high-end items are passing trends or made of easily deteriorating materials, while everything I have ever gotten from this store will easily be on my shelves for decades to come. If you have the chance, check out the photo-essay and brief film for the F/W collection, titled«Adventures to the Cape»(already after my heart). It features some of my favorite pieces from the line, a 1971 Triumph motorcycle, and some quality camerawork. Amazing. See:
