Faulty products, no customer service, and terrible delivery service. My entire experience with GE Appliances has been incredible poor. Appliances were delivered with defects and it took two additional attempts to correct and all on THEIR time(no flexibility in delivery times at all). My main reason for purchasing GE in the first place is because they advertise American made products, which apparently isn’t true either(all say made in Mexico). They lost a customer for life.

Wow… it happened again. Our dishwasher was on the fritz for the second time, so we called to set up a repair. About an hour before the appointment, we get a call saying the technician was«out sick». Colossal pain in the ass. I made the appointment 3 days in advance and reserved a 1−5pm time slot. Now you give me 1 hr notice that you can’t make it? Just a total disregard for their customers. I actually forgot that they blew us off the first time due to his being«too busy». If I would have remembered I’d probably would have thrown my phone out the window, because its just that frustrating dealing with them. I guess the NY section of GE just doesn’t take their service appointments seriously. They book and if they can make it, fine. If not, you have to free up yet another half a day. They probably figure they have you at their mercy after you buy. So without much else I can do, I advise you all to NOT buy GE products because the service absolutely stinks. Get your act together GE!

Unreliable. Canceled appt with no reason. Took a week to reschedule. Sears much better.
