Melissa is fantastic – she serves the best coffee around and lights up the room with her friendly demeanor. It’s that simple!
She is extremely personable, intelligent and efficient at what she does. Catering events and occasionally making appearances at farmers markets, Melissa is just one of those people that you know you can trust.
When you hire Melissa for an event you get a great packaged deal that is transparent and has no loopholes. Her pricing is more than fair (particularly for the quality of coffees), but it’s her personality that really separates her from the rest.
If I could give her 10 stars on Unilocal I would.

WOW. Melissa just catered our wedding this weekend and we had a large group of 180 guests. Every time I looked over she was so friendly with all our wedding guests and we even had some who said they made more than five trips to the coffee bar because it was so good. She is so wonderful to the guests and her drinks were so delicious and not acidic. If you are a coffee buff this is a MUST! Throughout the whole process from planning till the day of the wedding she was gracious and made incorporating this service to our wedding a breeze. I was able to pick out syrups and drinks and her set up was beautiful it blended right into our event. Even after the wedding was wrapping up she graciously waited for us to take family portraits before receiving her final payment. There are not enough words to express how great this was. Don’t think about hiring Melissa just do it you won’t be sorry. My husband and I are truly happy campers.

I got married on July 19,2014 and Grounded Coffee with Melissa was a HIT! at the reception. she worked longer than bargained for and brought more than she promised. With personalized menus and a great attitude. the fabulous espresso drinks were just a plus to the service and attitude.
If you are going to have great food and fine cake than why ruin it with an urn of bad coffee when you can have Grounded set up shop. She is worth every penny!
i had lots of kids and tea drinkers and they were also happy with the hot chocolate and teas.

I cannot recommend Melissa and Grounded. Coffee Catering highly enough. She catered my bridal shower in Manhattan this past weekend and was a huge success. All the guests raved and are continuing to rave about the delicious hot chocolate, the wonderful lattes and cappuccinos and the fantastic service. It was like having Starbucks (which I love) at the event, but better! She had every type of milk, espresso drink, hot drink and flavored syrup, plus a great set-​up and display. On top of that Melissa was energetic, friendly, responsive, reasonably-​priced, phenomenal to work with and brought great energy to the event. I promise guests at any event will love this!
