Very kind and friendly service… My laundry always come back smelling and feeling fresh! Dry cleaning is done fine as long as you give them a reasonable time frame to work with. Will be coming back here again!

Do not go here! They are crooks.
I was charged double the normal rate just because I requested them to separate baby clothes from the rest of the laundry. When I asked the lady the reason for being charged double she rudely stated that she was using bleach to clean the clothes (which I had not requested) and that the baby clothes were tiny and hence took time to fold! She questioned if I understood English and asked how long I’ve been in New York trying to state that this is normal practice.
I have never faced such a rude and dishonest person in my 6 years in New York. Don’t get scammed. Don’t go here.

Often not open when they say they are… pretty inconvenient. They do a decent job washing but I am always a little uneasy leaving my clothing with them.

Fast, good, and always kind service. I’m so glad to have them close by!

One thing to say is I am pretty picky when it comes to getting my laundry and dry cleaning. There are countless of places that tend to somehow ruin but Here to Clean has always succeeded the expectations. I got to using this place when a friend of mine recommended me giving me a rave review of a cleaning service in the area. So gave it a try and havent had any problems since. Folding is immaculate and the cleaning is fast and on time. Will definately be going back

Been coming to this place for years! Never really had an issue. Fast and reliable, and my clothes always comes back nice and neat where I can just easily store in my closet. Definitely recommend it you won’t be disappointed.

Do not use Here to Clean! They ruined my clothes (bleach spots all over them) and ripped my laundry bag. When I asked what happened, they started yelling at me, calling me names and withheld my laundry! They have horrible customer service and I wouldn’t trust them with my clothes!

I am upset to be giving this laundromat two stars. The staff are very friendly, and they normally do a fantastic job.
I opt to use the wash and fold drop off service, so my review is only for that aspect of the business.
The reason I am giving only 2 stars is because too many items came back shrunk, which I consider damaged as I can no longer wear them. I called to discuss the matter but any culpability was just denied. The wash and fold cost about $ 30 and my damaged clothing including t-​shirt, business shirts and a fleece was close to $ 150.
For this reason I am changing laundromats. Just an admission of mistake would have been nice, and it would have been impossible not to notice after taking it out and folding it.

They close early, promise to deliver laundry on way home, don’t bring laundry, and then complain that we asked for it same day, even though they said they could do it.
We then got charged $ 70 for an amount that has been $ 55 in the past.
Last time our laundry must have been left in dryer way after done, came back so wrinkled, had to iron all, normally wash and wear. When called was told not true, when I asked if I could bring by to show her, was told she did not have time, too much work. If you cant communicate and get some resolve with the owners about it, its time to move on.
They do, most times good laundry and have a horrible attitude !!
I understand being stresses of having a business, I have my own, this is why I get my laundry done and its not ok to reflect this on the customers and blame them.
We have been getting our laundry done here for years and the older owner was such a sweet man, its hard to do business with people when they blame you for what they have done and then get angry.
The women who work for them are very gracious and helpful, wish I could hire them to come do our laundry.

They do not ever actually stay open until the time they advertise. This is extremely frustrating especially when they close at 7pm as it is. I have to race from work to get here on time and to find the place closed early after speed-​walking from the subway… Super irritating! They are so close to me though so it is the easiest option – nothing worse than carrying pounds of laundry for blocks and blocks! I guess they do a standard job for wash and fold as well.
My advice to the owners, stay open an hour later! This is New York City, a lot of us work late and leaving early is a big inconvenience!

Dropped off clothes Friday night at 6pm, agreed to pick them up at 12pm noon on Saturday. They open at 8am so 4 hours should be enough time for a load yes? Came by around 1pm to pick up. Was told in broken English «Not weady yet»…I ask when «weady»…told 5pm. Ok I don’t mind if they’re running a few minutes behind, but 5 hours? Come on… But thats not the worst part…
I come back to get my clothes at 5:50pm that I need before I go away for a few days out of town… and they’re closed down for the day. Gate down and everything. Even though their posted hours are till 6pm. Guess they just felt like calling it a day a bit early. Wish I could do that at my job. But that’s STILL not the worst part.
First thing I do after I come back a few days later after getting back into town is to pick up my clothes. I ask if there’s any kind of discount I can get for the multiple inconveniences I dealt with by patronizing their business. This woman had the raw NERVE to tell me I inconvenienced THEM by not picking up my clothes for a few days. That is the last cent they ever will get out of me, and I will do my best to let as many people know about their CRAP service so they’ll do the same. There’s tons of other laundries in the hood, hopefully they’re not as unreliable, shady and delusional as this one.

Great place! They do a consistently great job with my laundry and the family that runs the place are always friendly. They’ve returned cash and iPhone headphones to me that I mistakenly left in the wash.

I love this place, and use it every time I do my laundry. THey’re lovely people and really great. A family run business. Only downside is my girlfriend doesn’t like the detergent they use and wont throw any delicates their way. I’m a guy with no delicates, so away it goes. As other reviews say, they weigh your bag and then give you a ticket — 0.70c a pound. It’s cheaper than other manhattan prices and some Brooklyn places.

Doing laundry in NYC is torture. Most of us aren’t lucky enough to have laundry rooms in our buildings let alone in our apts. Lugging that giant bag up and down my 4^th floor walk up was horrible enough. Add to that the unexplainable need people at the local laundromat had to hoard the few laundry carts and tables, well laundry day was always a long miserable event.
Enter the drop off service at Precious.
This guy (i want to say his name is Mike but i could totally be making this up).anyways, this guys is the sweetest man. He keeps records of his customers digitally and would remember me every time. Laundry gets weighed, he types in the weight, «sort? whites? colors?» out comes the receipt and you’re good to go. He even remembered what my laundry bag looked like and would grab it when I walked in without me having to show my receipt.
Returning home with a bag of magically laundered perfectly folded laundry shrink wrapped in plastic always took the pain out of teetering up four flights of stairs with 23 lbs of bulk. Roommates loved this place too. Keep this guy in business!

This is one of the few places in New York City that reminds me that customer service is not dead, it’s just more rare than a month with no full moon (the next being February 2018 for those that care).
Every time I walk into this place, I’m greeted with a smile and a «How are you?» while he takes my heavy laundry bags off my hands and weighs them. He remembers my face, name, address, etc. all by heart. Where else does that happen in New York?
They have free pick-​up/​delivery which I don’t really use because it’s only a block away but great for those lazy days.

At the risk of sounding like a slob and/​or awful human being: I really, really hate doing my laundry.
When I moved in my new place in the East Village I had no less than 36 pounds (!) of laundry saved up that needed doing. Precious 2 Laundry and, yes, «The Guy» (I feel a little sad that none of us know his name?) saved my butt on that one, and have continued to provide wonderful service ever since.
Other things I love about this place? They take cards, are awesome, The Guy remembers my name & jokes with me about how heavy my laundry is, I never have the correct change and he ALWAYS says don’t worry about it and rounds down to the dollar, he totally smiles and waves when I walk my dog past on non-​laundry related errands.
This guy, seriously, this guy.
I may or may not have dropped a very hot pink IKEA couch cover off here this morning that may or may not have seen better days prior to my halloween party. I feel certain he will work his magic on that as well.

«The guy» here is pretty freaking hilarious.
I dropped off some dry cleaning on Monday morning and he said it would be ready by Tuesday at noon. Well, I came by at 6:30 PM on Tuedsay and my clothes had still yet to arrive from «dry cleaning land.» He told me to come back in a half hour.
Well, I returned in a half hour and after a bit of hunting that left my heart beating fast, he retrieved my two suits and one pair of pants from the rack and hung them up by the register. With a smile, he proclaimed, «magic.» Then, things got better! When I handed him my credit card, he grabbed the card with both hands and bowed. Repeat said action for receipt of my credit card after swiping. And, for some reason, even though my bill said $ 22.50 my credit card was only charged for $ 22.00. Perhaps a mini-​discount for the delay? Who knows?! But my delight at «the guy’s» friendly demeanor only increased when he said he would «see me soon.» Sweet, already a regular, and I will be a regular at this friendly cleaner!

Fast, competitively priced, with great customer service. I’ve only gotten my laundry done here three times in the past year, but the guy still remembers me, with a smile. I sometimes wish they were open a little later — they close at 7pm — so when I’ve used them, I’ve had to pick up my laundry in the morning before work. But, that’s a minor quibble. I’d recommend these guys to anyone who gets stuck with a laundry emergency.

I moved to the neighborhood three months ago (well okay, I moved seven blocks three months ago), and I discovered that Precious was the closest drop off laundry/​dry cleaners to my new place. If I had known how friendly and efficient this place was, I would have moved months earlier just to have my laundry done here instead! Okay, not really, but seriously, the guy that runs this place is always there, always smiling, and remembered me from the second time I walked in, and I am not one to do my laundry that frequently (don’t get all freaked out people – I may wear dirty jeans but NEVER dirty panties, I have lots!). The reason I’m finally posting this is today I had an epiphany: I wonder if they’ll deliver my laundry so I don’t have to shower with a dirty towel? I called them and YES! My laundry was at my door within 15 minutes, no extra charge (I tipped generously, of course), and I am now about to get in the shower. *sigh* I love Precious.
Bottom line: Smiley, Efficient, Reasonably Priced, and Delivery!
