Ilene Squires Photography

I love my pics and Ilene was a total pleasure to work with. So so so happy!

I’m a sucker for Groupons and Ilene had one for $ 60. It was amazing, it included 2 hours of shooting, 25 high res photos on a CD plus a 11×14 print.
Ilene is very professional and reliable. She is very understanding and will respond to emails quickly as possible.
However, Ilene was not the one who shot us. She recommended Lisa, a talented photographer who works with her. Lisa was also very professional and easy to work with. She was definitely fun to talk to and you can sense she wants to make the photos as personal as possible.
I’m satisfied with how the pictures came out. I’m sad that that my shoot was cut short because of rain and lack of more sites. But that wasn’t their fault. We did have another site and I remember taking pictures but the shots didnt end up in the overall shots. They either came out horrid or is missing in some digital void somewhere. Whatever. I’m still happy with the results.

Artistic and Comforting! Ilene was the photographer at a reunion. There were a lot of beautiful candid shots. Some puzzled me to think, «how did she manage to get that?» Reunions are fun but there can be some awkward moments. Ilene sensed the tension between a couple of the guests and organized the groupshot with ease and mindfulness of the two individuals. It came out so great that no one could tell there was a conflict behind the scene. I’m looking forward to a family reunion, now.

I was very fortunate to have Ilene take our pics while she visited a friend in Chicago. I was so impressed by her work (take a look at her blog and sitehttp://ilenesquiresphotography.blogspot.com) that i honestly couldn’t wait for our turn. Our photo shoot day turned out to be one of the HOTTEST summer days in Chicago. But, despite the heat, sweat, traffic, and all other elements possible, Ilene captured the most beautiful shots of my boys (22 months, and 2 month old). She is an artist. She worked extremely well with my VERY ACTIVE 22 month old. She is patient, professional, and an overall great photographer to shoot with. I highly recommend her. She will shoot my family again when she comes out to Chicago in the winter. I can’t wait.

Ilene is awesome! She shot an engagement party for me and will be doing my wedding in October. She understands how to capture the experience of an event through photography. She gets the most amazing candid moments while being totally unobtrusive. Book her now!

Working with Ilene was an absolute pleasure. We had a photoshoot at Griffith park and it was an amazing experience. She is innovative and works well with children and animals.
