Did not think it was worth the price of $ 140, which is pricey in that neighborhood, which is where I live. It isn’t bad, but you can get the same for half the price around the corner.

I cannot say enough good things about the service Jenny Hall provides. She is an intuitive healer. If she wasn’t such a professional at what she does I would swear she is some kind of magic voodoo priestess or something. At times on her table I felt like she was literally drawing the evil out of me. After a session with her I feel like happy-dancing and sometimes I actually do! Her office is clean and comfortable in a convenient location close to Union Square. She is in a shared space with a couple other alternative healing practitioners including an acupuncturist. She does a very good job of making me comfortable with her very down to earth and warm personality. Jenny plays soft mellow music as per usual during a massage but that is where the similarities between her service and a «traditional» massage end. I have had many massages by therapists that just do their own thing even after requesting attention to specific areas. Jenny really takes the time to listen and provides attention to my areas of concern. Last week when I saw her I was having a lot of pain from an aggravated old injury — in my groin! I wasn’t sure if or how she could help me since it is, ahem, in such an intimate area, but she went to work on my leg and hip and I swear I boogied out of there like I was a dancing machine. She is the utmost professional and there’s no doubt in my mind she knows more about human anatomy than most doctors I have seen in my life. Jenny incorporates her own special technique into her process. My first meeting with her was the closest to a traditional massage. As I had more visits with her we were able to work on my issues and our sessions provided me some major relief. It is still somewhat unbelievable to me that she could make such a big difference. I am forever grateful! I am relocating and one of the biggest downsides to the move is that I cannot bring Jenny with me. For those of you on the fence about seeing her because of the price, just forgo one of your daily rip-off lattes for a bit. You will be doing your mind, body, and soul a huge favor! You really cannot put a price on this woman’s gift.

Jenny has an intuitive touch with natural capabilities of healing and speaking to the wisdom of the body. She is always pleasant to be around and is centered and grounded. Anyone looking for a therapist who is very connected intuitively, Jenny is the one.

I have tried dozens of massage therapists over the years including those working at luxury spas and Jenny is definitely worth her weight in gold. She has a healing touch, her style is tailor made to suit my needs and she melts away all my knots along with the aid of hot stones, a heated table and heating pads as applicable. I especially love her attention to the little details that aide in my relaxation and comfort such as placing an eye pillow with lavender oil over my eyes while lying on my back so that the light doesn’t bother me or placing a hot stone over my heart chakra. She also uses a high quality organic blend of massage oil that leaves my skin silky smooth but never greasy. I no longer get massages elsewhere even when away on vacation as they truly pale in comparison. I’ve sent several of my friends to her and all found her to be exceptional. I recommend adding on 15 minutes of Reiki to your massage for energy healing and chakra re-balancing. It puts me in a yoga nidra state and I wake up feeling renewed and blissful.

Jenny has been my massage therapist for over 4 years. I am very picky when it comes to massages, and Jenny genuinely listens to my concerns and offers her expertise in how to help heal my body. The combination of her pace, strength and the use of hot stones make for a fabulous, relaxing deep tissue massage. She has a flexible schedule and creates a wonderful, peaceful environment. I would highly recommend her!

i had a 60 minute massage by jenny just hours ago and was so pleased that i had to go wherever i could to sing her praises. i found jenny through the village wellness project website and emailed her to book an appointment. she responded very promptly and had a wide array of available times on a saturday. i choose a date and time weeks in advance and was pleased when jenny emailed me a reminder the day before. the waiting area for the vwp is sparse and fairly calming but on the warm side — no air conditioning in the common space, only the treatment rooms. this was the only downside of my entire experience. if you’re going to get a treatment during warmer months, make sure you arrive a little early so you can cool down and let the sweat dry before a stranger puts their hands all over you. :) there was an intake form in the room which i began filling out when jenny greeted me with a big smile. she definitely has a calming and sunny air about her — totally down to earth and not new age-y like some of my previous massage therapists have been. we then went into the treatment room, which was a great temperature, had very nice natural light coming in through the window, and was very tastefully decorated(mostly white). she went over my intake form with me, sweetly complimenting my profession(social work). then we got down to business. the first thing i noticed was that the sheets on the table were SO soft. the music jenny chose was calming but not too new age-y(can you tell it’s just not my thing? no enya please). as i requested, jenny focused on my shoulders, upper back, and neck. this was easily the best massage i’d ever gotten. every movement was purposeful and felt amazing. the whole session just flowed so well. i did not even realize i had so much tension in my pecks and thighs! when she spent some time working on the muscles right above my knee cap i thought i was going to melt. during the time that i was on my back jenny had a lavender mask over my eyes to keep it dark, which i appreciated very much. i don’t know much about massage techniques but jenny definitely used deep tissue, hot stones(on the shoulders, neck and back), and some reflexology. she spent an equal amount of time on all 4 quarters of my body and, although by the end i’d wished i’d booked her for 90 minutes instead of 60, i felt that every minute was worth my money. no fancy pants spa experience can compare — jenny has me for life.
