This guy will make an old pair of shoes look fresh out of the box new. He’s fast and his prices are always reasonable. I’ve had two pairs of shoes re-​soled and shined and was impressed with the results both times. I’ve also had a him clean a pair of suede shoes that I thought were ruined — they looked good as new when he was done.
He also re-​laces boat shoes for just a few bucks.

I have a pair of Hugo Boss dress shoes with leather soles that were in need of resoling. I took them to JFD Shoe Repair and was charged about $ 60 for new soles. When I received the shoes, they looked a lot better, however they began to fall apart immediately. It has been three months since they were repaired and the leather on the bottom has cracked on both shoes and there is already a hole in one of them. The original soles lasted over a year and a half. The leather soles provided by JFD Shoe repair are cheap and low quality. I would not recommend JFD to anyone — there are plenty of better places in NYC.

They did a nice job polishing up my leather boots, but the best part was the service: they followed me next door where I was getting my nails done and took the boots from me, once I’d sat in the pedicure chair, then delivered them back in under an hour!
Great job, even though it was a pretty standard ask… but the service puts them in 5-​star territory.

These guys are the plastic surgeons for your Choos and Louboutins. (And for your everyday shoes, too.)
They are fast, reliable and reasonably priced but most importantly, they do an impeccable job. I’ve brought quite a few pairs here and every time they came out looking like new. Recommended.

Good guys — quick, responsive, and they work miracles. Everything we’ve requested they do, they do well, quickly, and relatively inexpensively. A tad pricey but not nearly so much to inspire me to find anyone else. Great work at fair prices. Definitely recommended.

COMPLETELY DISHONEST!
I walked in last week with a broken right Merrell sandle that needs fixing and the guy at the counter charge me $ 10. I came back to pick it up, they did an ok job so whatever, I was ok with it. My left sandle broke in the same place as the right sandle two days later so today I took my left sandle to them to do this same job. This time the price was $ 25! I have the receipt to prove that it was a $ 10 job last week and he denied that it was the price. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
DON’T GO THERE!

In town for work and staying across street with brother-​in-​law. Of course it’s raining and that’s when boot sole decided to wear through. Needed a quick fix and these guys were fantastic! Brought in at 5 pm and they delivered to my building by 8 am the next day in time for my meetings. Great experience and highly recommend!

Very friendly… this guy is great and does very high quality work with shoes. I’ve brought my leather bags here as well when the straps break, or they look worn… and he always gets them looking great again! He is not the cheapest on the UES, but I feel he is very honest and the prices are definitely reasonable… I only bring my stuff here now! Highly recommended — and free pickup/​delivery is an added bonus!
