Kristin Misik

I initially found Kristin because she was in my health insurance network, and close to where I lived. I had discovered acupuncture a few years prior, when I had been hit by a car and acupuncture was part of the covered treatment.
In the 10 years I have been getting acupuncture and body work in NYC, I can unequivocally say that Kristin is the most gifted healer I have been to. She was very thorough in her assessment of my conditions, and every visit is comprehensive, no matter how sick or well I am. I have been to several acupuncturists who give a very «out of the box» set of points and not much discussion. Kristin goes beyond surface level presentation of my injuries/​issues and takes the time to discuss other aspects of my health that may be contributing, namely nutrition and exercise. Her touch is very healing and she has the ability to precisely target points in a powerful way.
Additionally, she is vibrant, friendly, empathetic and easy to talk to – all the qualities you’d hope for in a healthcare provider. Her practice is situated in a comprehensive chiropractic and physical therapy office, so it is easy to get multiple complimentary treatments if needed.
I have made many personal referrals to Kristin, and all have found her to be excellent.
