I went to Labcorp today (Saturday) at 11:40 AM, when I normally arrive for a standing order (1 minute blood draw). TODAY, the rules changed and I was told I had to be there by 11:30 AM since they close at noon. Nowhere is this time constraint stated on their website (they mention drug tests need the hour advance notice, but nothing else). I was never told about this requirement in the 4 months I’ve been going to Labcorp. I felt like whoever was at the front desk arbitrarily made a new policy. Not pleased and I can only hope that when I come back during the week I don’t have the kinds of issues people have reported on Unilocal

Went for an 8:30 appointment. They called my name at 9:30 to tell me they don’t do the test I made an appointment for. Then they told me to go to another location and to make an appointment because they definitely honor appointments. Yeah right…

Compared to the one located on 23^rd street, the staff members at 14^th Street were friendly and very professional. Will return to this location for future lab work.

Computer was down, which it seems happens quite often. Woman behind the counter would be fired from DMV for being too rude. Her specialty is mumbling and turning away in the middle of a sentence.

I went to Labcorp for a pre-​employment drug screening. I tried to schedule an appointment online but the earliest available slot was 7+ days away. I decided to try my luck as a walk-​in, and arrived around 1:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. There was only one other person in the waiting room. I wrote my name down on the sign-​in sheet at the front desk, and was called up within a couple of minutes. The entire experience — arriving at the clinic, waiting to be seen, taking the sample, and leaving the clinic — took under fifteen minutes. I will also mention that the staff was extremely helpful and friendly (I had read a couple of negative Labcorp reviews before going and was not expecting this quality of customer care). Overall I was extremely pleased with the service!

After having had a bad experience at a competitive company down the block on 14^th Street, I have switched over to LabCorp. LabCorp takes appointments online. I have once come in as a walk-​in, the lobby was packed, and the wait was long. Having learned my lesson, I have since planned my visits, and have made appointments online. I have not had to wait more than 10 minutes ever since. The staff is professional and friendly. I have been coming to this particular facility for 2 years now, and I am very satisfied.

Called and spoke to a representative of this facility to simply find out about screening options and associated costs. It was like pulling teeth to get any helpful answers outside of «I’m not the person to talk to.» It took 5 – 7 questions for her to clarify that I’d need to talk to corporate billing to get any information and the woman sounded annoyed that I was even asking. She tried to hang up prematurely, but I managed to get her to stay on long enough to give me the # to call general customer service.
The entire call made me feel like I’d done something wrong, was an annoyance, and not a single question was met with any effort to want to help me. This was very unpleasant, and I can only hope the bedside manner of the workers there is better than their phone attitude.

I’ve been to this lab twice and both times the computers went down. When this happens they say they don’t know when the computers will be back up and they are unable to do any work with the computers off.
I stuck around the second time and they did the work even without the computers.

Came here for several tests at 9:15 AM on a weekday morning as a walk in. There was NO wait time at all. The facility is spotless and organized and the staff couldn’t be nicer.

Best lab spot I’ve been to yet. Minimal wait. Friendly staff. Brought my 7 year old here for a dreaded blood test and they were super friendly. Unlike other locations which are crowded and have surly staff.

I have a standing blood test every month, and I commute in from NJ because my doc in NY requested LabCorp. I too have experienced a few blips checking in but I rarely have to wait and making reservation online is a breeze (although I’ve had trouble paying bills online). But the best thing about the 14^th street location is the woman who takes my blood every month. I think her name is Jackie. She is patient, good-​humored, incredibly hard-​working, and just makes this all go so much easier. So grateful to her…

I was prepared to have anything but a good time here, after all who likes getting their blood drawn whilst on their lunch break. My lab guy Tun was hilarious and comforting. It was my first visit with new insurance, so we had a whole check in part that lengthened the visit, but the draw itself was quick and painless. Looking forward to doing it again next year. Quick, clean, and no appointment necessary.

Been here three times. The front desk is a but disorganized. The place is large and clean and the blood draws all went very smoothly. One of the three times, they did not test for the right things, which was either the phlebotomist’s fault or the fault of the lab it went to (not sure). Overall, the level of competence and pleasantness seems a notch above other blood labs in NYC. I would recommend coming here.

Our pediatrician said I had to take my 1-​year-​old to Labcorp to have routine tests done, and I knew I wasn’t going back to the awful location near us (on 5^th Ave. in Brooklyn). We arrived at Labcorp 14^th St. at around 1pm on Monday and the waiting room was completely empty. The place was spotless and there was lots of light in the waiting room. They called us back to do the tests just a few minutes after we arrived. We were led to a room with colorful decals on the wall — definitely the kids’ room — which was cheerful and actually did make my baby smile. The nurse was extremely friendly and gentle, and it was over very quickly. I don’t think it could have been any easier.

A 50 minute wait is bad enough! But I was also told to fast beforehand, and 1:30 was the earliest appointment I could get within 2 weeks. Ridiculous. I was starving by the time I left at 2:45pm – and late going back to work.
The one star is for the most amazing woman who used a small needle on me and made it the most painless and pleasant bloodletting experience I’ve ever had. Haha that sounds weird but it’s true.
MEMO to the office staff: GET IT TOGETHER. Your nurses do.

I still can’t believe how great this place is. I walked in without an appointment during my lunch break a few days ago [on Tuesday a afternoon around 1:00PM], and there wasn’t a single person in the waiting room. I was called into the back to get my blood drawn five minutes after I arrived. I was out the door to go about my day less than twenty minutes after I walked through the door. That’s what I’m talking about!
While I was getting my blood drawn, I heard someone in the waiting room screaming about how she was waiting «forever» to be seen, which couldn’t possibly be true, as I was just out there five minutes earlier and she wasn’t there. I heard the staff member at the front desk speak calmly to her in return, saying that the phlebotomist must be with another patient [me] and should be with her shortly. Way to handle that curve ball.
The phlebotomist that drew my blood was as cordial and gentle as the staff member that I saw during my last visit.
The hours have changed since my last review. LabCorp is open Monday — Friday from 7:30AM — 5:30PM and on Saturday from 8:00AM — 12:00PM.

The Labcorp on 14^th street is a pleasure to use. It is considerably nicer and better run than any of the other Labcorp facilities I’ve used. Staff is pleasant, scheduling is possible through their website, and the wait is not long if you try to go during the 11:30 — 1:00 period.

I walked by this place like three times on the way to get a pre-​employment drug screen. Thankfully, the folks inside submit results based on collections, not on the erratic way I walked around in front of this building. The blinds look like the kind of roll-​down window grills and there were construction permits on the window, so I thought the place was shuttered.
Anyway, after a long and crazy episode (thanks to the other lab company right next door, you know, the one that has a name that rhymes with breast pie agnostics, and has a facility that looks like it belongs in some sort of human experiment terror movie) I made my way back to Labcorp. The location is amazingly clean… not only in smell, but in the way the wood floors shine in the upscale lighting. I was able to quickly get in, fill out my paperwork, submit my sample to the friendly associate, and be on my way.
I will specifically request doctors to send me to Labcorp to fill out my paperwork since I’m still having nightmares about that other place…

Clean facility, great people, little to no wait.
I have really crappy veins making blood work horrible. This was not the case today. The woman who saw me took my blood quickly, without stabbing me more than once (a rarity).
If you have to get some fun health tests done, go here. You won’t be disappointed. The people who work here seem to love what they do as they are focused, but also laid back and pleasant to be around. I had a 8:15 a.m. appointment and only had to wait 5 minutes while I completed the paper work and the place was super clean!
