Madeleine Euro Spa

Madeline is the nicest woman imaginable, but she talks SO much and goes SO SLOW!!! The most painful Brazilian of my life (I had had it done a few times before, and it never hurt like this!) I would go to a corporate place next time where there are licensed properly. This is in her office/​bedroom or something — it’s a very strange setting and feels very unprofessional. Again, she is a sweetheart, but I left crying and did not recover (massive redness and bruising) for about 4 days.

Lets be honest! There are ton of places in the city who are looking to take your money and give you a half assed brazilian. A brazilian means ALL OFF and i feel that level of attention is rarely given.
Madeleine on the other hand takes the time and attention to give a perfect wax. I have been coming to her for 8 months and my bikini has never looked better, add on the fact that there is a visible reduction in hair regrowth.
While her prices may be slightly higher than the back room of a nail/​hair salon, she is a true perfectionist and, given the time and attention, her prices could be much higher for the service she provided. She also offers a package deal of buy 6 get the 7^th free which saves you a bunch.
I saw a comment about cleanliness?!? While Madeleine’s small space is not like walking into a bright shiny day spa, her location and equipment/​space is always clean. The small second floor apartment space has more throwback 70s feel, but that does not reflect in the service you receive.
Overall I’m really glad to finally find someone how is as concerned about my bikini as I am ;).
If you don’t believe me give it a try. I’ve already converted my cousin and a friend and they feel exactly the same way!

I got a bikini wax with Madeleine and it was the BEST wax! Lasted for such a long time, I’m going back today and will definitely not go anywhere else. I found her on Lifebooker and just had the best experience. She is such a lovely, smart and interesting woman. Great wax, great conversation with her and overall great experience.

Visited Madeline’s Euro Spa this morning for a brazilian wax. Madeline did a very thorough and thoughtful job attempting to correct a previously botched wax (see my review for Avalon Day Spa). She was very friendly and comfortable and she offered advice for between visits. I would definitely recommend her services.
