Kerry-Lou and her team did hair and makeup for my wedding last weekend. Kerry-Lou did my mom and I and her team did my bridesmaids. Everybody looked stunning! Kerry-Lou was extremely reliable and flexible, she arrived early to set up and we were exactly on schedule at the end of our allotted primping time! Equally importantly, Kerry-Lou is an extremely kind and likeable person– she was fun to spend the day with and was genuinely concerned and committed to having me love my look. I felt and looked great all night. Thank you Kerry-Lou and team!!!

I hired Kerry-Lou to do hair and make-up for my headshots with Joe Henson Photography. By the end of the day, I found Kerry-Lou to be an extremely talented, fun loving and beautiful human being. She has a way of making you feel at ease; looking beautiful while leaving you with a very natural look. I have naturally curly hair and am not always happy with the way people style it; I had nothing to worry about with Kerry-Lou! She styled my hair naturally and then straightened it to give me a completely different look. I even bought a straightener so I can try the look myself. I certainly need to practice… too bad she doesn’t live next door! If you’re in need of hair and make up for that special occasion; no need to look any further. You won’t find any better than Kerry-Lou!

I was thrilled with the way Kerry-Lou styled my hair and makeup for my wedding. Her rates were average, compared to the research I did and I felt she was worth every penny. She listened to me explain my ideas for what I had in mind and was able to make suggestions for what she thought would look best. After my trial, I knew I fully trusted her and didn’t hesitate to sign a contract! On the day of the wedding, Kerry-Lou and her team made sure my wedding party and I were enjoying ourselves with the great sense of humor and fun and we never felt rushed. Kerry-Lou did my hair and make up for my City Hall wedding.
She was very responsive and prompt in our email communications leading up to the day. On the day of the wedding, She arrived promptly at 5AM, all smiles! She was such a pleasure to work with. She has a lovely attitude, and is so calm, which would be helpful for most brides. Kerry-Lou clearly has a lot of experience and she knew exactly what I wanted and delivered.
My only criticism is that I found my hair style a little too stiff; I’d wanted natural, beach curls. However, I think she was erring on the side of caution and wanted to ensure my hair survived the entire day, which it did!

I’m a makeup artist myself, but for peace of mind on such occasion as my Wedding Day, I trusted Kerry-lou to do my makeup, and my hair.
She was, as expected, amazing! She put my extensions in for me, and was able to give me the exact hairstyle that I had envisioned. My makeup was natural, but beautiful, and when my then fiancé saw me, his reaction was «wow, you look beautiful! I’m such a lucky man!» (which is exactly what you want to hear as a bride!)
My makeup and hair lasted through the ceremony, a 2 hour photo session in Central Park, and dinner, without any problems!
She was super sweet and also helped my mom (who had recently got the Keratin treatment and was having problems achieving volume at the roots), by styling her hair.
I certainly recommend Kerry-Lou and her team without a doubt!

After several unsuccessful hair and make-up trials, finding Kerry-Lou felt like a god send! She listened attentively and made thoughtful suggestions – taking my face shape and dress style into consideration. Her natural talent, people skills and work ethic make Kerry-Lou the absolute best in the business.
On the day of my wedding, Kerry-Lou and her team came to my parents’ house in Montclair, NJ. They did hair and make-up for my mom, my bridesmaids and me. (My bridesmaids still talk about how much they all loved their hair!) The entire experience with Kerry-Lou, from trial to wedding day, was nothing less than perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a true professional!

I reached out to Kerry-Lou about 3 weeks before my wedding (late, I know!) and although she was not available for my wedding date, she directed me to Amanda who works with her. Amanda was so great and did such an amazing job. The trial was on the day of my Bachelorette Party and she was able to make my make-up special for that day. Then the day of the wedding, she changed the look a little to suit the occasion and everything was gorgeous! Also, the application took place at 9am and lasted until 3am, it was amazing! Highly recommended!

Let me start by saying one word– amazing!
There are no words to express the word THANK YOU enough… Kerry– Lou was doing my make up and hair on my wedding day. I looked exactly like I wished to be, the makeup lasted the whole day and we started pretty early… by the end of the night I was still looking glorious.
I don’t know with other girls but I can speak for myself, when I was looking for a makeup artist I was looking for an experienced professional. Right from the beginning of my trial I knew I found what I wanted. Kerry– Lou listened to me with lots of patience and did a fantastic work. I looked flawless and was very happy. Ah! Kerry-Lou was such a find! I reached out after another make up trial went kind of south for me, about a month before my wedding. She was available and I went to her studio for my trial. Fantastic!!! Her work on my wedding day was even more amazing and it lasted through the whole day and a serious dance party later in the evening. She also did my mother’s hair and makeup and she looked fantastic. I highly, highly recommend her. She’s über calming and light and fun as well. Very nice to have around on a stressful day!
