Easily one of the better custom made shirt places. Service is top notch. Hours are convenient. Work is spot on.

I have never written a Unilocal review until now. this place is unprofessionally run and I will never buy from them again. Stuff is cheap, and that’s what attracted me. Service is terrible. I don’t mind continuously going back to refix clothes because it takes a while to get someone right. What I do mind is continuously going back to see that my clothes were not altered to how we discussed or altered at all, as if someone just threw it in the back and never touched it. I had a pair of pants that went through this phase, and they promised to replace it. But it never made it into the database, so when I come back to retrieve it, they have no idea where it is. I was so pissed I just left. 6 months later, I have a jacket and still no pants.

I am writing this review on behalf of my brother. Like many others, he was attracted by the cheap prices that he noticed when walking past the storefront. He first bought 3 shirts, and after he was satisfied with those, he bought another 4. However, 2 washes later, the fabric on one of the shirts tore. Thinking it was just a random occurrence, he discarded that shirt. Another wash cycle later, 2 more shirts tore! All shirts were machine washed on the delicate cycle and hang-dried, along with all of the other dress shirts. Other brand shirts, ranging from Target-brand to Proper Cloth and Modern Tailors shirts, have all been able to endure these common wash methods. It’s fairly safe to assume that in case, with the shirts being a good $ 20+ dollars cheaper than other custom-made places, that you get what you pay for. Onto customer service: The first shirt was long gone, but my brother went to the storefront to try and return the other two shirts. They offered no refund, and the store manager claimed that the best he could do was offer a $ 30 gift certificate… for 2 shirts that were $ 70 each. After arguing for several minutes, they agreed to contact corporate representatives and ask for a refund, but according to them, this is highly unlikely to occur, and he has more or less given up hope of seeing his money back. The worst part was the not-so-subtle insinuation by the manager that we had somehow deliberately damaged the shirts. Paraphrasing his words, «Well you see from our perspective, this looks awfully suspicious.» As if there is ANYTHING to gain from doing this; at BEST you break even money-wise and waste a lot of time.

My bf came across this place and decided to check it out for the first time. He placed an order for a customized shirt and it was ready in less than 2 weeks. The customer service here was great. The guy that helped him out was really helpful and friendly. I don’t remember his name but he was tall and Asian. Really nice dude. My bf’s shirt was a bit too big but Marcella’s employees went out of their way to make sure he was satisfied with his shirt. I recommend this place for other guys that work at a business environment and need really nice & dressy shirts. You cant go wrong with this place!

In summary, I’ve tried 4 custom shirt makers already(Epic Shirtmakers, Second Button, Arden Reed) and these have been the only ones that have gone perfectly smooth. The service here was amazing. The lady was really nice and walked me through the customization process and well as making personal measurements. I ordered the shirts about on 7/23, and they arrived less than 2 weeks later. The fit was very good — none of the problems I usually have with the neck being too tight or the waist being too baggy. This will be my go-to shirt maker in the future, given that they sell at a better price point than most alternatives. Oh and they have cool ties as well for $ 35.
