Never been to a Marshalls before my wife dragged me in one the other day. It’s like Bed Bath & Beyond at discount prices. They also have a large clothing section. Not a huge selection and inventory is kind of random. They might not have what you want, but if they do your in for a deal. Found some cheap curtains at about 1⁄3 to ½ the price of Target.

Compare to Kansas City and Wichita this store is terrible. My wife went there to buy a curtain a 100%polyester other 100%polyester on the store are between $ 16 to $ 19 when she checked out since the item has no price they charged her $ 24.99 and told her it is silk she showed them the tag saying its polyester and brought the similar brand but a ringless curtain they still charging her for $ 24 so she left and didn’t buy it. After a week we went to Legends Marshall saw the exact curtain Rodeo taupe 100% 56×96 curtain and its only $ 16.79.

When Marshalls first moved into Manhattan, it was great. But now it is pitiful. What happened. You could probably find better stuff at Goodwill. Looks like their going out of business with a lot of the racks empty and lackluster merchandise. I travel a lot for my work. All the other Marshalls I have been in are nice and have a great selection. So again, what happened and why can’t we have the great selection that they had when they moved in?

I always have been a fan of Marshall’s because I get a little joy out of the hunt for great hidden pieces on the racks. Marshall’s also has dressing rooms with a sense of humor: the hanger hooks in the rooms are labeled«Definitely,» «Possibly,» and«Tomorrow.» I have found some really unique items in this particular store, including a hammered copper pitcher, a beautiful silver picture frame, and tonight — unbelievably — Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Yuzu eau de toilette! For those who know me, a lot of my life centers around green tea and yuzu everything, so to find that(and at a discounted price!) inside of a Marshall’s here in the Little Apple was truly awesome.
