Have been to this dry cleaner several times over the years and my last will truly be my last. I dropped off 3 pieces for alterations(two men’s jackets to be taken in an a pair of pants to be taken in) as well as two shirts to be washed. The alterations were to be roughly $ 100 which I thought was fair. I was given a ticket and told the garments would be ready the following week though late in the week because of the alteration. That was all fine until I receive a call the next day saying that the alterations would actually cost around $ 300, saying the people there were not qualified to fit me or quote for the work. This is easily 3 times what I have paid on the upper east side for the same exact alterations. I told them not to move forward with the work and I’d pick up the garments. I then went to pick up my garments and find they did not wash the shirts but just pressed them. There was no apology, and the woman got huffy with me when I wanted to use a card and the tab for the shirts was bellow their minimum. To be honest, they should have not charged me for anything. A pretty bad experience all around. Worst of all, I used them that day because was in the neighborhood and thought it would save me time.

I have been coming here for a while even though there are other drycleaners closer to me. They are generally very reliable and I havent had bad experiences. In the rare event when clothing has been damaged due to the cleaning process, they have always made good on it.

My favorite dry cleaners in the city! I’ve been using them for five years for cleaning as well as the tailoring of complicated items. The owner is very professional, detail orientated, hands-on about her business, and knowledgable about her industry. Prices are competitive but not cheap.
