My second time at Hairstyling by Joseph and it landed me in the best seat of the house. That of the hair griot herself, Michell Ali. She was informative and deftly doled out the wisdom of a serious professional with over 25 years of experience. In 5 minutres she understood my lifestyle, my bad habits and my routine and took charge in remedying my issues and giving me a plan to achieve beautiful and healthy hair.
It also being the eve of my 40^th birthday and 10 year anniversary, I wanted a change to usher in this next phase of my life and give my husband something to drool over.
So, under Ms. Ali’s expert hands a beautiful transformation emerged. The hardwood floors embraced about two inches of my limp and greasy hair. My freshly washed hair soaked in some sexy and autumnal/​golden highlights and regally haloed the crown of my head. The cut was a masterpiece. She was gentle, jocular, focused, creative and hip. What more could I ask for? The ambience at Hairstyling by Joseph is fun and easy and professional and just soul food for the spirit, mind and hair!
