Very happy to have found Oskar while searching for some last minute help. I went to see him for the first time about 2 weeks ago before taking a trip.
First, I was pleased he could manage to see me with very little notice, as I was traveling in just a day or two from my phone call. Then to make it even better, he is just the right combination of personal and professional when you are in his studio. And the best part was that he gave me great service … going above and beyond even.
I went to have my back done and have had both waxing and laser done for this in the past. It seems everyone else is always looking to get more money from me when I mention doing more than their quickest treatment, such as my shoulders or arms. Oskar however, has the same idea as me about complete coverage. He did my back as far as he could reach on either side and I was willing to allow down my bum, my shoulders (practically to my elbow), and my neck as well.
To top it all off, the sugar removal was maybe one tenth as painful as any other treatment I have had. Can tell you that I will never wax again, not as long as Oskar is around to do a better job — both more personal and more professional as I said before.

This place is awesome. The owner is extremely friendly and he cares a lot about the customer’s satisfaction and happiness. He also advises you on what exactly you need to get done. If you are a first timer you should definitely come here as he will make sure the process gets done with the best care possible. The owner is also very patient.

Sugaring is much better than waxing, and Oskar is great at it. He’s totally professional and puts clients at ease. The space is great — he just remodeled it. It’s in a basement space on West 27^th Street that is extremely private.
I have been going to him for a few years now. He is a master at sugaring and tries to minimize any discomfort as much as he can. I have referred friends to him and everyone thinks he’s great.
Whether going for your back, chest, butt, or other body part, you can expect cleanliness, professionalism, courtesy and privacy from Oskar.
For those who might be concerned about pain when sugaring the butt and/​or groin area, I have to say that Oskar is speedy and thorough. While obviously you cannot totally eliminate sensitivity in these areas, you leave feeling great and without redness. I have never regretted my decision to sugar instead of wax and would recommend Oskar to anyone who asks.
