It was a good place to get something quick especially Pizza. But this turned into a lounge now and I believe the name has also changed.

This is a pizza spot to remmeber. We were pretty hungry after we got of the 33rd street path stop and needed a quick bite. Rather than hit the tourist trap food courts we found this little pizza stand. They have tables set up outside so seating wasn’t a problem. Pizza was good, really good. No sign of a bathroom though. We will probably return to grab a slice before venturing further into the city in the future.

I stopped on the way back to my room for a quick bite, I was surprised expecting it to be just ok, it was actually pretty good.

Surprisingly, I enjoyed this pizza. I tried 2 slices — one was called a «Roma» slice I believe(square pizza) which I enjoyed the most, but my slice of plain left something to be desired. Definitely not a good plain slice to NYC standards. Either way, I give it 3 stars because the specialty pie was good.

I loved this pizza! My sister and I ate there twice because of how good it was when we stayed close-by. She loved the buffalo chicken pizza and I loved the spinach mushroom pizza. I miss it already. Did not expect much by the looks of the establishment but was pleasantly surprised:-)

This place was really close to my hotel so we decided to go grab a slice after sleeping in Monday morning. The pizza was OK, nothing to get excited about. They do offer a lot of variety and for that reason they get three stars.

Larry is the slim guy at the register. When I told him«never trust a skinny cook» he informed me that he’s down 100 lbs! He’s been a staple entrepreneur in the immediate vicinity so long he can tell you about when Macy’s was a vegetable garden. It certainly has given him sufficient time to perfect the pork pizza, try it… you’ll be so happy you indulged a little or A LOT!!!

The pizza was ok, but I had a pretty bad experience at this place. I overheard the staff make a joke about me to each other, in Spanish, assuming I wouldn’t understand what they were saying. But I speak enough Spanish to get it. I told them angrily but politely, that it was pretty rude to make fun of your customers. They were obviously pretty shocked that I understood, and tried to pretend they weren’t talking about me. When you pay $ 5 for one lousy slice of pizza, the least they can do is treat you with basic respect.

Good crust but sauce and cheese were not memorable.

It must be because I’m from New Jersey and I don’t get to taste NY pizza often. Compared to what I’d had recently, My Daddy’s Pizza tasted darn good! Sorry, guys, this may not sound like much of a compliment but it is. I trust my taste buds. The sauce was awesome, not sweet at all. A lot of sauce has sugar added and I don’t like that sweet taste. The crust was not too doughy or thick, there was the right amount of cheese. I’d take a PATH ride just for 2 slices of that pizza again!

I came here out of desperation, I was basically just looking for the nearest pizza sign. And I knew from the name and the location that I wasn’t in for anything good, and I got what I expected. It’s unsatisfying, mediocre pizza. But it’s not absolutely horrible, so there’s that I guess.

I wasn’t inspired or anything, just thought I’d write a review because I walk past this place every day, and it’s the closest pizza-by-the-slice near me. It’s surprising that there’s so much foot traffic in this area, yet nowhere to grab a quick bite… maybe that’s why My Daddy’s is always pretty busy even though it’s just mediocre pizza. Nothing really to say about the taste — I’d go back for a quick slice when I’m too lazy to go more than a block away, but wouldn’t recommend it to anyone really. Kinda pricey at $ 2.50 a slice… but crazier is that it becomes $ 3.25 if you add a topping. Slices aren’t huge either.

Let me start by saying: I hate midtown. I hate the people in midtown. I hate the cars in midtown. I hate the smells in midtown. I hate the food in midtown. My Daddy’s Pizza is a breath of fresh air in a sea of otherwise shitty air. The food is not awe-inspiring, but it’s decent pizza and there’s a friendly atmosphere there too. A bit expensive for pizza in my opinion, but it’s fucking midtown so whatever.

I should have known better than to stop at a place called My Daddy’s Pizza, but I had just a few minutes and figured how bad could a slice be? Pretty bad. The oily glop-a-rama ended after 2 bites. An insult at $ 2.50 a slice. I think there was a different place here some time ago that did better slices. Best avoided.
