A terrific show! Great music (and you don’t need to be a Sinatra fan) — and great theatre!
We had a table for four — and ALL enjoyed Cary’s show on Mother’s Day Weekend 2015. Cary Hoffman has a tremendous talent — more than words can express! We went with our mom, who turned 92 that weekend, and, after we got home, just before she went to sleep, she said, «I’ll never forget tonight as long as I live! It was such a wonderful show!!! I thank you so much for this!»
My nephew, who is 21, and has a high bar for everything, thoroughly enjoyed the show.
My sister, who was exhausted beyond all-​get-​out before we left the house, perked up, LOVED the show, and was so glad we went. Cary Hoffman made us all so very happy!!!
We were all floating on air all evening from the high he gave us! As a side note: We thought our table had both the youngest and the oldest people in the audience: 21 and 92. That’s pretty broad demographic appeal!!!

Saw My Sinatra at Sofia’s this past Saturday and loved it. It was a great story and the music was fantastic. There was a hint of comedy as well as sadness. Great show! I would suggest it to anyone who loves Frank Sinatra’s music!

What a treat! Two hours of fun, great music and storytelling. Cary Hoffman tells the story of his life, but it could be the story of anyone’s life who loved the music sung by the consummate performer, Frank Sinatra. I laughed, I sang along, I identified with so much.
This is a show so worth seeing. When in NY, and you love «crooning», do not miss this wonderful show.

Wanna meet someone who can grab you, charm you and fill you with some real emotion? Well then, sit down and relax ’cause you’ve come to the right place to see the right show.
I confess… I am a long time follower of Mr. Cary Hoffman’s show. Last week I went to Sofia’s and I saw MySinatra for the 7^th time, I kid you not. Am I nuts, yeah, nuts about the program. The show has evolved from the early days of small small theatres in the high 20’s of Murray Hill to the UWS Triad Theatre on 72 St.
Is it better? Still awesome I say.
Like good bittersweet chocolate, Mr. Hoffman takes you through his early adolescent obsession with Mr. Frank Sinatra– the man and his music – to now. Yes, Sinatra’s music is timeless. But there’s a big contrast here in the personalities. A big divide between the timidity and angst that Hoffman feels versus the coolness and brashness that Sinatra is known for. There is no doubt that Hoffman idolizes Sinatra to the extent that he mentally and artistically becomes Sinatra. Along the way, he shares the hardships and bumps along the road.
I got involved in the story and you will too. It is that compelling and funny.
Just a great night’s entertainment. Full of action and surprises. A roller coaster ride of emotions. Are you ready for this?
I hope you are. And in a short time when I need another dose of fun I will buy another ticket and bring myself and more friends to see, yep, MySinatra!

Very entertaining, enjoyable, unique and well done. Small venue makes it special. Its very personal with a great splash of humor. Comedy, great music and well worth checking out.

I am not sure whether i got the wrong impression of what My Sinatra is but I did not like it. I thought that it would be someone singing Sinatra classics for the entire show. Instead it was about a guy’s life story (mr Hoffman) who wanted to be like Sinatra. He sang some sinatra classics but most of the show was talking (by the end I had a headache). I think for a 90min or so he sang a total of 7 songs. Perhaps he was trying to be like ‘jersey boys’ and throw in his story but I personally wanted to hear Sinatra classics all night. Again, maybe I misunderstood the concept of the show. One more thing, the bar accepts cash but no credit cards.

Took my parents to see this show. This is as NY as you can get. I felt like I was in an episode of ‘The Golden Girls’ on some cruise ship. It’s entertaining and it was endearing to see him live out his dream (as I’m assuming this was his dream to have his own solo show) but would I recommend seeing this over other shows? Not so much (unless you’re a huge Sinatra fan)

What a touching show. The music is beautiful. It takes place in the basement of a club. They have full bar service during the show but be sure to bring money because they are cash only. The program was funny, poignant and entertaining. I don’t want to give to much away but I would recommend the show to any Rat Pak, Mad Men or Sinatra fan :-).

This show by Cary Hoffman is so full of heart that I would recommend it to everyone. He makes you think about what your life was like as a child and how it has made you the person you have become. Happily, I grew up with a musician father who practiced everyday, so I know how excellent it is to hear music all around me like Mr. Hoffman did. So happy I went to his show, he’s a wonderful, very generous performer and you just feel so good having heard his funny and thoroughly interesting life story and all the wonderful old songs woven into it. And he’s a great singer, too!
