Kamani was very friendly and professional. I needed him to install some tricky curtain rods/​brackets that had to be installed in the ceiling of the window frame, and he did so quickly and with no issue whatsoever. He’s a really sweet guy and knows what he’s doing — I’d definitely use him again for any handiwork around the apartment!

I have called on the expertise of Kamani for 2 large jobs at my office — the most recent project was for him to hang 23 (!!) various pieces of wall art. I had found Kamani a couple months ago on Unilocal and after that 1st job (hanging 14 shelves, whiteboards, artwork) I basically stockpiled another bunch of items just so i could get Kamani back in here! Each time he brings his calm energy & magical rolling bag holding every tool needed to get the job done (and done properly!)

Kamani was great! He installed 2 pictures ledges/​shelves, a display of 5 framed prints and replaced the drawer pulls on 2 nightstands which was a much more difficult job than it sounds. The movers lost one of the drawer pulls and I found out our previous pulls were not standard size. I was sure I would to settle for «off-​center» pulls but he managed to rework the holes, drill a new one and viola! — centered drawer pulls! I would highly recommend him. Very friendly, thorough and neat.

Kamani was as reported by everyone else on here very helpful and friendly. All the towel bars and hooks are straight, door knob repaired, and all done neatly. Would absolutely recommend him for others and have already scheduled him to return to do additional work in my home.

Kamani was great, exactly as described by so many people here. I needed door pulls put on all my kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and a heavy mirror hung securely on the wall. We exchanged emails where he asked for *all* the details, he gave me a quote, we scheduled a time, he arrived, did the work, and left. He’s friendly and professional, and the work he did was awesome. I’ll definitely be calling him again for future projects!

He was fantastic!!! I had a porcelain sculpture, many uneven edges but it needed to look «centered» on the wall. Within a few moments it was all measured and mounted, perfectly!!! Best in Manhattan — call him!

I got Kamani’s help as I was moving, to dismount my TV off the wall, take a few shelves down, and patch up the damage. He was quick, efficient, and quiet. I took a few work phone calls as he was doing his thing, and I could barely hear him in the background. He was also extremely professional and courteous, and left the place very neat and tidy.
His charges were very reasonable.
He was a bit late to the appointment — it didn’t make a difference to me, but I can see he has some negative reviews about that so you might want to make sure you budget some extra time.

I hired Kamani twice to mount Ikea Ekby Jarpen/​Ekby Bjarnum shelves and a Samsung 32″ TV and was satisfied each time with the service. Only deducting a star since he arrived late for both appointments. I hope to use his services again in the future!

I manage several commercial properties and unfortunately am not handy at all. Kamani is my first call when it comes to furniture assembly, window treatment installation, picture and shelf hanging and even small appliance installation. I could use 4 different companies for these jobs and deal with 4 different kinds of annoying corporate red tape. With kamani i shoot him a text with the job specs and he gets back to me immediately with a reasonable quote and a quick eta within a day or 2. He is so reliable and skillful that I am giving him full sets of keys to my properties so he can do jobs on his own time. He certainly doesn’t need any direction.

Absolutely stellar installer! For a few hundred dollars, we were able to get a bike rack, large mirror, 2x picture rails and my favourite — a 6 piece art collage — wall mounted. Had me and my husband attempted to do any of these ourselves (especially the art pieces) we’d have a wall full of holes and marriage on the brink lol.
Kamani was friendly & professional. Clear in his emails, arrived when he said he would, had the proper tools on hand, worked efficiently and left the job site clean when he finished. What more can you ask for? He even fit me in before the holidays with about a week’s notice, which I am incredibly grateful for.
I’m absolutely thrilled with the results, it makes our little apartment feel like a home. Do yourself a favour — save your time, energy, sanity and perhaps a relationship — call Kamani.

I contacted Kamani via Unilocal,the job was to hang a small extention table that has 6 nails and 7 small picture frames «small and medium sizes» «7 nails» .basically I live exactly 3 blocks and 1 Avenue away of his place «about 10 minutes walking destance» … simply he asked for $ 180 to get the job done … $ 180 !!!

Kamani is awesome! My friend stupidly messed up my shelved headboard that I had trouble disassembling, so Kamani took that apart and put it back together. He also helped me hang multiple art pieces around the house. Everything was hung with care, and so evenly! I also have a very sweet but attention hungry dog, and he was so good to her.
He’s very responsive to text and asks all of the right questions so that he can give you an accurate price quote before you book with him. I plan to call him again for any future handyman needs.
