Martin helped me solve a huge problem today! He advised me on a new AC window unit, picked it up and installed it and did it all with a big smile a chuckle and utmost competency.
On the hottest day of the year. He’s my new hero and went the extra mile on lots of small details. I’ve already recommended him to a neighbor of mine in my building.
And he’ll be on my speed dial for future jobs!

I contacted Marty for a number of different chores from painting, to customizing a walk in closet, to adding a kitchen backsplash and am extremely happy with the results. He was prompt, responsive, and cared very much for how the job was done. He also gave workarounds and figured out solutions if things were not easy to decipher. I recommend him and would be happy to work with him again.

I had my window A/​C installed yesterday. Very positive experience with Marty.
He arrived right on time with relatively short notice.
He advised me on NYC code and how to properly install an A/​C **note: beware of other guys who also claim to install A/C’s however do not do so to code. Marty’s rate is $ 60 — others quote $ 45 but the job will not be properly done)
He brought along a safety bracket (the cost was included in the $ 60 quote)
He quickly installed the A/​C (took less than 15 minutes) and I am very please with how it turned out.

They were wonderful! Very accommodating to my roommate’s & my irregular schedules. It was originally a two day job to replace our bathroom sink. It became a three day job due to the «wonderful» work previously done by God knows who in the past… probably the «super». They were very creative and proactive in finding a solution to a problem that was unexpected, and unconventional.
HIGHLY recommended– Nice, professional, knowledgeable, and effective. They even called back the next day to follow up and make sure everything was working properly. Where else in NYC can you find this kind of service??? Reminds me of the kind of people that you deal with back in the Midwest.
