Thank you Rite Aide for messaging me after I had posted a 1 star review on your store. Jose from Rite Aide just now has called me and I informed him of the few trips I had made to his store and especially the last one. He listened and apologized and gave me his name a second time and invited me back to the store to say, «Hi.». I will do that.

This is the worst Rite Aid ever. Do yourself a favor and walk to CVS. This Rite Aid has a number of employees who would rather prepare to close the store than help a long line of customers. There is always one cashier even when it is clear that people are waiting. I asked for the manager one day, but soon realized that she was the one laughing and joking with the security guard instead of working.

Its such a depressing atmosphere. I don’t know why, but it is. I definitely don’t feel more healthy having gone there. Its just Rite Aid though, they don’t owe me a good time. Just keep the candy on sale and everything’s good.

Words can’t describe how horrendous this place is. I got a flu shot a few weeks ago and got a shoulder injury(bursitis). Turns out the lady gave it too high in my arm, it hurts incredibly to move. They messed up my meds not just once but twice within the past six months! The first time I caught them and the lady tried to force them on me anyways, knowing my medicaid will only cover it once per month. This time I didn’t get the full amount and will be short this month. The pharmacist just blamed my doctor over the phone. This place is a DANGEROUSHEALTHHAZARD!!!

Terrible experience!!! The cashiers are extremely rude and unhelpful. The customer service is outrageous! They need to close down or hire new staff. Will never shop there again

The store manager Joe there is snappy rude and always seems like she hates her job. When I go to pick up my husband’s medicine the girl in the pharmacy Colleen or Coleen or whatever she seems like she hates her home life… Not to mention the security guard is a fucking joke!

I used to be fond of this Rite Aid, where all the workers used to remember me, but after a turn of horrendous management with unsanitary bathrooms, I am absolutely done with this store. Pro’s: –good discounts, but can say the same about the CVS, which is usually well stocked and much cleaner Con’s: –terrible management. Manager is always screaming and challenging fights with costumers! What a shocker! She needs to be disciplined and let go. No one should ever picks fights with costumers. –Workers always seem to be having fun, playing with toys meant for kids. What is depressing is I have seen the above said manager squirting water from waterguns at other workers! –I once had to use the bathroom there, terrible mistake. No running water, door does not lock, smells like someone urinated all over the bathroom. Does anyone clean this place? Do employees wash their hands??? Disgusting –Place never seems to be stocked with the items on sale. Everything seems to be gone once it’s put up. –Costumers who are simply browsing are treated like thieves, a worker followed me around when I was killing time and browsing for candy. I ended up buying some, but regret it because it was expired… sigh OVerall, will never go to this location again, due to poor costumer service, dirty facilities and ridiculous managers.

The lines in this particular store are always long and some of the staff always look like they don’t want to be there. Bad enough they hardly ever know where something is. I only go into this store if I am in desperate need of something other than that, I’ll go to another drug store near by. The employees need to work on customer service and how to work at a faster pace when the lines are long.

Worst Rite Aid ever! Always a long line. They don’t seem to really care about their customers. Bad management. Seems like they don’t think that their customer’s time is worth much… .i.e. we have a very low opportunity cost… just like the Marshall’s in Harlem.

Rite Aid is my default pharmacy of choice simply because they have the things that I need. You can always get cash back up to $ 40, they often have discounts on candy, gum, cold drinks, assorted snacks, and they have cheap bathroom items like toothpaste, deodorant, mouthwash, contact lens solution, pills and medicine… I don’t know about you but that’s all I need from a pharmacy. My number one seller for Rite Aid is the cash back at the register. Why pay a $ 2.50 fee for nothing at the corner store ATM when you can come here and pay $ 1 for a snack and still get your money? If you get the free wellness bonus card you have even more deals at your disposal, so I’m all for it!

Now, I don’t really know the benefit of reviewing a Rite Aid; you’ll either go there because you need something, or there’s no need for you to go there at all. I don’t think people really go there to shop for stuff, unless it’s for candy before a movie. Most of the goods at this Rite Aid in Harlem are overpriced. Three separate times, I’ve gone in to buy a pack of cigarettes and they were charging me more than a dollar more than the price that was advertised on the rack. The first time this happened, the cashier said, «Oh, they just didn’t change it in the system yet.» Fine. The very next day the same thing happened, only this time I demanded that she sell me the pack at the advertised price– it takes literally seconds to fix the price in «the system.» I had to wait about 10 minutes for a manager to finally come up and approve the transaction, but I got what I wanted. The third time was about two weeks later and for a different brand of cigarettes entirely. It was a different cashier and when I protested, he said there was nothing he could do and that I had to pay almost ten dollars for my $ 8.50 purchase. I know this is not a large sum of money, but it’s the principle at stake here. You can’t just advertise something for one price and charge whatever you want for it. I asked to see a manager and waited off to the side of the line. The next thing I know, this brutish thug of a security guard starts giving me shit! «Why don’t you just leave? You don’t have to buy your cigarettes here». .. shit like that. Already being in a sour mood, I replied, «Shut the fuck up and mind your own damn business.» Not thinking that I would stick up for myself, he went on and on about how I don’t want to fuck with him, I don’t want a piece of him, how he would mop the floor with my ass. .. the usual tough-guy stuff. The manager finally came up and fixed the situation by ripping the price tag off the rack and not changing«the system,» but letting me have the cigarettes for the cheaper price. I let him know what the security guard said to me and that he probably shouldn’t have pit bulls working in the store that threaten to physically assault customers. I haven’t seen that security guard since. Ha Ha! I’m the«faggot ass motherfucker» that got your ass fired! The only reason I’m giving this Rite-Aid two stars instead of one is that they know how to take out the trash and the one black lady manager who works there was actually very nice to me.
