I am a fan of this company’s singles parties. I met my current boyfriend of 2 and a half years at their fireman singles party. It doesn’t happen over night, I’d been to quite a few events prior to meeting my man but their«themed» events are a blast. I’ve been to their Cougar/Boy Toy Hunt before and«Hot Or Not» Mixer, both of which brought out a great crowd. They do their parties at cool venues like Hudson Terrace, Toshi’s Penthouse, M1−5, etc. have very friendly staff and know how to throw a great party. I recommend their events to all my single friends.

I decided to attend their Anti-Valentines Day event at and had a great time. It was a charity event benefitting the single cats and dogs of Bideawee animal rescue which I thought was a really nice thing of them to do. I’ve been to several singles events in NYC and been disappointed with the experiences more often than not. The venue was perfect for the event. There was an even ratio of men and women and the ice-breaker they implemented(«cheesy”-pick-up lines) made it very easy to approach and talk with people. Forget on-line dating, events where you meet singles in person is the way to go and SingleAndTheCity puts on the best dating events I’ve come across in the city so definitely check them out if you’re single.

I went as a very hesitant wing man to their event last week and have to admit I actually had a good time. The venue was very nice, the crowd was a mix late 20s to early 40s, well dressed and actually interested in meeting people. For my first singles event I have to admit it was fun, well organized and I would highly recommend going and yes I did meet someone that I’m going out with later this week… Wish me luck!
