The guy here was not very good, did not feel that refreshed and he tried to charge me extra which I did not tolerate. Would avoid him at all cost

Owner has video cameras watching each massage table which I’m pretty sure is a violation of privacy and also super creepy. Beware!

Clean, fast, nice… I really want this place to stay in business! It’s tricky to find since it’s on a residential cross street on the UES, but it’s a great neighborhood spot and gets the job done. They have a male and a few female therapists, open late until 9:30 (10 if you’re still getting a massage).

My husband and I had a wonderful massages here while visiting. I do not get them on the regular but this was definitely a treat!!!

David gives a fantastic massage ! He is a real healer. He also listens very well and tailors the massage to what you need that day.

I move around a lot and am always in need of a massage. And I have had plenty of massages before coming here. Lemme tell you, this is the best massage I have ever had. They know where to focus without even asking you. It’s a no frills kinda place, but the massage is top notch and that’s all ya need.

No frills as others mentioned, but excellent massage. Left feeling very relaxed. Was able to call and walk in which was very convenient. Rating only 3 because the place was very cold which detracted from my experience.

I was in serious need of a massage and decided to try out this place because of the great reviews and it’s just a few blocks away from my apartment.
I called ahead of time to see if it would be ok to walk in but had a hard time understanding the person who picked up the phone. Luckily I just walked in and David greeted me. Helen was my massage therapist. It was just what I needed and felt like more than an hour. It’s $ 50 for an hour but now they offer shorter times as well.
The place is clean but you can hear people passing by or David on the phone. Not a big deal though, I’ll be back!

Really good massage. Right amount of pressure and got out all the kinks.
Was taken right away when I walked in (no appointment) and it super clean and spacious.
My only minor gripe was that the masseuse was clearly putting in so much effort that she was sighing really loudly every few minutes.. .
I’ll be returning though for sure.

I was able to reserve a massage here only half an hour ahead of time, which was lucky for me, but there were a few things that bothered me.
First of all, let me preface by saying the massage itself was great. The lady who massaged me really knew what she was doing and was mostly very nice. I do ballet almost daily and I had some serious knots in my back that needed tending to. My masseuse did not go easy on me, which was just what I needed.
However, I am fairly certain the male receptionist came in while I was getting my massage to speak to my masseuse. Seeing as I was pretty much fully nude AND without my glasses, therefore feeling particularly vulnerable, I was not comfortable with this happening without my permission. Yes, my face was stuffed into the hole in the massage bed when this happened, but I don’t see how else they could have had a face-​to-​face conversation, had he not been in the room.
Also, he assumed I didn’t understand Mandarin and told my masseuse she could charge me extra if I went over time. Again, this was not something I had agreed to – we had said 1 hour on the phone – and I was not comfortable with this.
In the end, thanks to my masseuse’s kindness, I was not charged extra, but the way this was all gone about was very discomfiting to me.
The quality of the massage itself was stellar, but certain members of the staff didn’t prove themselves particularly trustworthy. For the latter reason I would hesitate to visit this place again.

I travel 10 Blocks to get a message at this place. The messages are great and the employees are professionals too. This is one of the best messages i have ever gotten in NYC. The price is right too! Everyone should try this place. Give it a shot. Its worth trying. I feel amazing and refreshed after every session.

I could not walk from terrible back pain. I called and David took me the same day. Let me tell you, the massage I got here was world class and helped me actually walk straight. He worked out every kink and muscle and new the body like a doctor. Thanks David.

This massage clinic is simple but great at the same time. The therapists are attentive and very skilled at massage– very kind people as well. They know by just touching my back exactly where to work. I have chronic back issues from a hurniated disk and sciatica in my lower back– and the therapists have helped me deal with the pain. Their massages are very relaxing and are a great way to get rid of the stress of the week. One hour is around $ 50 and that is very affordable. I have been twice and will return again very soon.

I do strength training 6x a week and have a desk job, so as you can imagine my shoulders get more knots than an Eagle Scout could tie. For $ 50 you get an hour of solid, no fuss massage with serious pressure; not suitable for wimps. I’ve seen the guy’s flip flops come off the ground from using so much strength.
Not for those looking for a spa vibe, but it’s clean, and the masseuses are attentive and grateful for your patronage.

I think this is the best massage I have ever had. She also actually listened to me about where I was hurting and focused there first. Really appreciated it and will be returning. Plus it’s a really good deal!!!

I have been here solidly more than like 20 times. David is a miracle healer, and if you lead a healthy, active lifestyle and want release– this place is for you.

I have to say I was skeptical about all the good reviews and felt they had to be exaggerated. I was wrong. Having a massage there is utterly pleasant and comes at an unbeatable price. The experience started right when I entered their modest studio on the upper east side where I was welcomed by their extremely calm and friendly staff, I felt relaxed even before they put their hands on me!
The masseuse was very skilled, gentle with sensitive areas and strong and extremely accurate when working my knots.
Good service, good people.

Wow! It’s so good when your masseuse actually knows how to find the knots and problems straight away. David was a star he found and worked on my knots for an hour relentlessly. None of this standard up and down left and right going through the monitions stuff here. Very good! I’ll happily walk the 12 blocks here from my place anytime. Value for money is excellent too! $ 50 for an hour! Beautiful. I’ve always been very fussy when it comes to massage so if you are like me, give David a try.

Can’t beat an hour massage for $ 50! It was a pretty good one too. It’s not super private, the massage rooms are divided up by room dividers — but way better than the curtain that divides rooms at a lot of places! I told the woman not too hard and she actually listened! Usually even when I say that they still hurt me. Seemed pretty clean and I didn’t hear any happy endings going on in another room (which I could swear I’ve heard at other places LOL). I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in need of a massage and not looking to break my bank account! Definitely better than other similar places I’ve been in the neighborhood!
