Kansas City, KS
One of the top liquor stores in town if not the top spot. The fact that I’m giving them the top spot is based on a few things, selection, prices, specials, discounts offered and staff. The selection is huge and if they don’t currently carry your item they can order most times at no additional charge. The prices are consistently the lowest and the specials they run are always better than anyone else in town. The group of guys and gals that work here are always offering a hand on to help, be it suggestions on wines and cocktails or just what beers are in season and seasonals that are arriving. It’s my go to spot in town and definitely my favorite.

I usually balance between here and Nespor’s. The Fridge offers a great variety of products and most is at a reasonable price. I especially love this place when I’m just in the mood to peruse and pick up a few new things to stash.

Idaho Falls, ID
They have a good selection of beer that they are constantly updating. You won’t find a better selection of singles for the build-​your-​own-​six-​pack anywhere else in town. The staff are always nice and very helpful.
Wine selection is alright. Could be better, but not bad. They also have a few brands of saki that I could not find anywhere else in town.
They offer discounts for military, seniors, and people who return wine corks to be recycled, which is awesome.

This locally-​owned store has a large selection of wine, liquor and beer. I did not pay attention, but I also learned later that it is the place to get cigars in town.
I got great assistance from the staff in locating wine and beer. Tuesdays (and maybe Wednesdays) all full-​priced wine bottles are 20% off. I found a sweet red Bartenura I had never seen before that I am excited to try, since Total Wine in Nevada had discontinued distribution of Bartenura Malavasia not long ago (one of my favorites).
I also picked up a Fetzer Riesling and Sam Adams Cherry Wheat… and then I saw Peche Lambic on sale in the large size ($ 7.99!). The Fridge has liquor bottles in a variety of sizes. I hope this Fall I can find the horchata Blue Moon here. Cheers!
Every kind of alcohol you can imagine at very reasonable prices.
Not the greatest setup but just peruse the shelves and fridges and I’m sure you will find what you are looking for. The staff is usually pretty knowledgeable. Get’s busy on Friday and Saturday nights with all the undergrads so would suggest going during the day if you can to avoid the crowds.
