The Jalapeño

I don’t know about this truck. I’ve tried it three times and had various veggie stuff. It’s generally pretty decent, worth at least three stars for the food. But, the second time I waited on the sidewalk for over 30 minutes for my tacos. A month later I walked where they were on Dekalb and ordered veggie tacos but they told me they were out of veggies. I said I’d be fine with just beans, but they were out of beans. I asked what they had. They shrugged.

Tasty, but the meat seems low-​quality.

Long wait. Subpar torta and taco. Not doing this again.

I was in the mood for calexico,
When i learned that they were reshifting their gears in mexico.
The jalapeño was outside the office,
So i figured a burrito from a new place may suffice.
Low and behold the burrito lacked taste
And not only taste, but it was a waste.
My tummy was achy;
The food was just not mackin’
The right parts of my taste buds
And instead was a big dud.
As I thought to myself:
Who f’s up a burrito?
All I could think about and crave was a mojito.
Thus I’ve learned my lesson and now so should you,
The Jalapeño just isn’t the best,
You will meet far better with the rest,
The line is too long,
And really just skip it because I’m done with this poem.
