With 5 items for ~$ 30 and cocktails at around $ 12 each, this makes for a pretty good low-key Friday date night. Sure, it’s a bit pricey for the _amount_of food you get, but everything was pretty good and it’s a very reasonable way for the museum to turn some revenue from free admission. I didn’t come here expecting to eat a full meal. I expected some good small plates and decent cocktails while waiting for the free Friday night admission to the library & museum. It really exceeded my expectations – the ambiance, live violinists, and pleasant crowd really added to the experience. We got the deviled eggs, lobster salad bites, risotto, crab cakes, and cookie plate. With the exception of the mediocre cookie plate, everything was delicious and rather rich(which helped since they were all only a few bites each).

Nice little café just inside the beautiful Morgan Museum. My brother got the ham and cheese sandwich, which was fantastic. I got the pea soup, which was unique, healthy, and super fresh… but cold(on purpose). I wasn’t a big fan of it, but I appreciated what they were going for. The cool part is that you get to have lunch while admiring the museum. The tables are in the foyer, so you can eat while looking at the beautiful interior. Good food, great service. A bit pricey for my taste, but overall a very nice lunch experience.
