I am highly disappointed with my experience thus far.
However, I’ve decided to hold off on posting my full review until a later time. I’d like to give Totsy a chance to respond to my emails first, and hopefully rectify the situation.
Should my experience with Totsy change, I will review accordingly.

There are no refunds on this site, the shipment comes a month later, and all the sizes are super small. I basically just donated money to them. You get what you pay for, in this case, you get nothing for what you pay for. It’s better to just shop on Amazon or Hautelook, don’t risk getting scammed!

I wouldn’t have even given them 1 star if that was an option! I ordered two pair of shoes for my son in his size well a month later I received the shoes and they were too small so of course I call and see if I can get them in a size up… A very rude costumer service rep replies «ma’am there is nothing we can do!» I stated shoes in different brands often come bigger or smaller then the size they are supposed to be especially since the shoes are in fact the size my son wears! She rudely replied «we’ll it says on our website we will not accept returns so I don’t know what to tell you» I can’t believe the way this company is doing business and I can’t even imagine how they could be in business when they treat customers in such a way! Unbelievable seriously! So now I have 2 pairs of shoes that don’t fit my son that I have to keep and can’t use… Wow thanks Totsy for nothing! I posted a warning on Facebook and I will post this review on every site I can to warn others from making the same mistake I did and that’s doing business with this company!!!

Totsy is the worst! They advertise great products at great prices and are very quick to debit your account. Months later when you question where your product is… about the fifth time… they finally respond that the product (s) you ordered is no longer available. Refund? What’s a refund? They don’t seem to know! BEWARE!

These guys are thieves. Never ever place an order with them.
I put order twice & both times there were major issue with shipping and condition of the item. It took days to refund for the first order and for second item even though it was never shipped, they never returned money. Rude customer service. Horrible, this business (if you still want to call it a business) should be closed.

The worst internet shopping experience. Ordered three items on December 6^th, 2012. The estimated delivery date was December 26^th.
I got an email from Totsy saying that one of the items was OUT of STOCK on JANUARY 3^rd, 2013. I called the customer service on JANUARY 10^th to tell them that it is an unethical business practice and to complain that I have not received my package even though the website said it ships within 5 – 7 days (Now it changed to 10 – 15 days). The customer service person argued that it is only FEW DAYS LATE because of the holidays. Few days??? In any case, she reminded me that it is a final sale.
It is January 10^th today, and I haven’t received my package yet.
I will stay out of this site. Your baby will out grow the clothing size you order by the time you receive your package.

Here is the letter I posted to them… In response instead of an I sorry or how can we make this better they told me social media was not the place for resolving customer service issues… Ummm the multiple reps I talked to were not able too so yeah it is or at least to warn other customer about the company. (and no I did not get the order yet)
I have just completed the most disappointing web transaction so far. I have on occasion ordered from Totsy and the sales model does tend to lead to very slow shipment cycles. On December 3^rd I got an email for the site promoting a group of items and «get it by Christmas» so I made a large order. Now usually I would not have put all of my Christmas «eggs» in one basket but it was guaranteed Christmas delivery and it was only Decmeber 3^rd my estimated delivery date was Dec 17^th so all was safe right??? Ummm not so much.
When December 18^th and passed with no package or email about a delay I contacted Totsy and my journey through web retail hell began.
Day one 9am
So I called the customer service line and waited half an hour or so in an ominously silent hold zone broken only every 5 minutes or so by an all reps are busy message. Unfortunately you never are quite sure if you are on hold or have been disconnected. Finally a very nice customer service rep came on who really seemed to care she was looking into my order when the ominous silent hold zone dropped and I was disconnected from the only person at Totsy that seemed to care about a little girls empty Christmas tree. She did call back unfortunately I had to run to a meeting so I missed the call.
Day one 2pm
I finally had an open timeslot so I called back. I got the same fabulously caring rep who was so apologetic of the situation and really seemed to be trying to fix it. She told me that my items were being inventoried and that they would be shipped expedited UPS so they would arrive in time for Christmas. I was so happy and I thought hey maybe someone other than
really can actually successfully run fulfillment. She said to call back the next morning to confirm that everything had been shipped, and if for some reason it had not been shipped I could cancel my order so I would not be charged.
Day two 9am
I called back but had to leave the ominous hold zone after 45 minutes to run to a meeting.
Day two 12pm
I called back and waded through the ominous hold zone and finally got a rep. Not the kind caring rep from day one but a very angry bitter woman who said my items had shipped but she could not tell me how, or a tracking number or an expected arrival date. Since they had shipped there was no way I could cancel or get a refund. When I asked to speak to a manager she said the manger was not in. (I will not go into what kind of sales company does not have a CS manager, supervisor or lead in during the busiest shipping time of the year.) I ask to speak to the rep I had spoken to on day one and I am told she is on another call but there is nothing she can do either. When I ask well what can I do she said I can call back tomorrow (day 3) and someone will be able to help me then. I ask what can I do if my items do not arrive by Christmas as promised she said I could refuse the shipment and when they get the items back I can request a refund. When I ask again to speak to the rep from day one she sighs and sends me back into the ominous hold zone again. Then when she comes back on she says my tracking info will be available at 4:30pm so the log on to the site then.
Day two afternoon
I turn to Facebook in hopes of getting some help. A Totsy social media person responds and promises a rep will contact me… NOTHING. Send an email to CS in hopes maybe that group will be more helpful that the phone rep from today. NOTHING…
Day two 5pm
4:30 comes and goes with not tracking information.
Day Three 9am
Still no tracking information or contact from Totsy as promised by the Social Media rep. So I journey back to the ominous hold zone (only 15 minutes today so better!) Todays rep tells me that there was a mistake in the warehouse and my order was sent USPS not expedited UPS so it will not be here in time for Christmas.
Please help make this right. My 14 month old has just learned about presents she loves opening them and everyone else will have presents under the tree. Please you have the items in stock you can send them next day Saturday delivery and they will make it in time for Christmas. Don’t let a little girl be the only one without her toys under the tree and with only an orange in her stocking. There is no time left to shop for Christmas, I trusted your company for 3 days after I should have just given up and gone shopping on my own. Please don’t let this little girl down.

I just received my first order from Totsy, and I can say the whole experience was ok. The website is bit difficult to navigate, but the sales are amazing. I ordered 3 shirts for my daughter at $ 4/​each, a pair of boots for $ 10, a dress, a sweater, and set of storage containers. Since this was my first order, I got free shipping.
About two weeks after I placed my order, I got an email stating the boots I had ordered were unavailable. Bummer — since that was the main sale item that drew me to the site. The remaining order took about 5 weeks to arrive.
The items were all great and correct except for my dress. I ordered a small and the package label said «small» — but the dress inside was a medium. This probably wasn’t a Totsy issue but a problem from the main company. I called the customer service number with my order, and after a few minutes on hold, a polite lady answered and said they would issue a refund for the dress since they didnt have any smalls at the warehouse. When I asked if I needed to send the medium dress back, she said no. It was mine to keep, and I could give it away if I wanted. :)
I’m not sure if I’d order again right away. If I got free shipping or found an amazing deal that I wasnt in a hurry to get, then I would. For gifts or everyday items, I’d probably pass.

Cute items at a good price, but i’d stay away. I’ve ordered from them twice and both times, i’ve had problems.
They time the items in your shopping basket so there’s no such thing as browsing and returning to the site at a later time. you need to have the time to sit there and look through all their sales at one time. my first order, i spent 30 minutes browsing only to find that my order was cancelled «accidentally» by Totsy. When they finally recreated my order, they conveniently left out the coupon code i had applied to the order. they finally applied the code after a couple of follow-​up e-​mails, so i thought i’d try the site again.
In my 2^nd order, i had ordered a 2-​piece pajama set for my son. the set came with 2 different sizes. Totsy’s response? «All sales are final». What the heck am i going to do with 2 different sizes?
Customer service? my 2^nd order was received at the beginning of October. I attempted to contact them numerous times since receiving the order and i just received their response today (11÷29÷12).
To be fair, they were affected by hurricane Sandy at the end of October. My problem is that only their customer service team seemed to be affected. They were/​are still selling like crazy.

Totsy works similarly to a few other flash deal websites. They negotiate with manufacturers to have sales, accept online orders for the merchandise, then contact the manufacturer and let them know what was placed. This is not the fastest way of doing business, but it does give an estimated ship date for each item at the bottom of each sale (which people often miss).
However, unlike other companies who operate this way, Totsy frequently fails to obtain the items they said they could sell, and they struggle to properly fulfill orders.
This would possibly be manageable if they had a shred of customer service. They don’t, despite what the poor girl who manages their Facebook says.
I placed two orders last spring that went OK. They took about three weeks to ship, which was about what was expected, and I received everything OK. Then I placed a third order. Not a very good bargain to order three pairs of socks and pay $ 7.95 in flat rate shipping, but it was an impulse buy. I was moving about a month after placing the order, and I knew they were slow, so I had it shipped to my parents’ house.
Maybe 6 weeks or so later, I realized my order never arrived. I had not received any communication via email or phone about it. I logged into my Totsy account to see what had happened and it said my order was canceled. Um, what? I dig further and find that my credit card had been declined. Um, what?
So apparently they didn’t bill my credit card right away. When they went to do so, I had changed my billing address because of the move and the card was rejected.
If Totsy wanted by business, they should have put forth an ounce of effort to contact me instead of just cancelling the order and not even bothering to send an email.
I posted on their Facebook page about it, thinking that it was some sort of bug in their system, but found out that there were TONS of people having big problems with them.
Thanks to the Facebook post, I got a brusque phone call from a Totsy rep, asking me for by billing address so they could process my order. I said NO THANKS and hung up on them. Got the same product for less from another site.
Totsy works OK sometimes, but be sure to check prices on other sites like Amazon first, and be prepared for looooong shipping delays, nonexistent customer service, and a giant PIA if something goes wrong.

I am new to Totsy and I found it on Pinterest. I ordered 3 items, went thru their ordering system, gave my credit card and PIN and then the order wouldn’t complete. I clicked «place order» 3 times. Nothing. So I e-​mailed customer service on Sept. 25^th. Got an automated e-​mail response telling me I would hear from them in 1 day. Nothing. E-​mailed again Oct. 3^rd, same results. So, I called after getting the number via the net, couldn’t find it on the site. Was put on hold for 8 minutes then told they could not find an order for me. All to say, a frustrating experience and I will not try it again.

1 star because I had to — The worst! I placed an order 3 months ago and when I call they tell me it will ship tomorrow. It’s almost funny that they are ok with the fact that they’ve told me the same thing for 3 weeks now. Never again!

Horrible Horrible Company! I really liked this company up until today! I needed to cancel an order and they refused to do it. Not only do you have to send 5 different notices with them in 5 different ways, to cancel! I agree with everyone else here, it takes them forever to send stuff to you, and sometimes status is unknown on your package, on top of that you don’t get the right size to things on your order!
I will be contacting the better business bureau!
They just want to cheat you out of your money! BEWARE!

This company may be the worst company on the entire planet. Placed my very first order which was 6 picture frames (intended to be used in pairs of 2) and an open cardigan. My order was pending for FIVE weeks until I finally decided to give a shout and see what the deal was. I was informed that 3 of the 6 frames weren’t available (which TOTALLY screwed up the way I intended to use the frames but ok). They finally shipped me the 3 frames & the open cardigan. 2 of the 3 frames arrived completely damaged. We are talking DESTROYED. Scratched, cracked, chipped and honestly looked like something I wouldn’t have even put my hands on at a garage sale. The cardigan was blatantly the wrong size. I contacted them with my complaints and was told they don’t accept returns but will make an exception just this once and allow me to mail the garbage back. Oh how big of them! I was hoping they would just accept pictures of the garbage and refund my money — no dice. I asked that they also credit back my original shipping fee as all I was left with was one inexpensive frame which I NEVER would have bought solo given their shipping charges. Never did get a straight answer on that — just kept getting run around. So I schlepped to the post office with 2 huge picture frames and the open cardigan and mailed the junk back. Weeks went by, no credit. I finally called them AGAIN to check on the status of my credit. I was asked all sorts of questions about the reason for the return and was also asked if I addressed the package to the specific CSR who had handled my complaint. Um, no — I was never told to do that. The girl had a lousy attitude and I finally pretty much LOST it with her. She then said «let me go ahead and process your credit.» She put me on hold and came back and had processed a credit for my entire purchase price so I ended up getting the single non-​damaged frame for free (even though I did pay to ship all the items back). I will never order from them again ever!

Where to start???
Order placed Feb 24, with an estimated ship date of Mar 17. Mar 19, phone call to Totsy, order not shipped, ship date unknown, waiting on delayed items. The girl on the phone also got snippy with me when I laughed and suggested perhaps they shouldn’t give an estimated ship date, or at least email people to tell them their stuff is delayed. If I never called, I’d never have known.

Mar 26, phone call to Totsy, was told that the delayed items had just come in and order would be shipped within 48 hours.
Over the last 2 weeks I have been sharing my issue with other shoppers on their Facebook page — and I am not alone. There are tons of stories of damaged items, incomplete orders (with no notice of why, and no refund until people have called), and completely wrong orders. It’s fairly obvious if you look at their Facebook wall that it’s not worth the «savings» to waste your time with them — THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS…
On Mar 29 a rep from Totsy emailed me, she obtained my info from my Facebook posts, which is kind of creepy — their reps can just look up info unsolicited… I didn’t ASK anyone to contact me, and never gave an order number on FB. Anyway, the email pretty much said exactly what the rep I spoke to on the phone 3 days earlier had said, «items just came in, will ship within 48 hours»… Um, wasn’t that 3 days ago?! And hey, thanks for wasting my time again! She also added a $ 15 credit to my account… Hahaha, NO THANKS! Offering nothing would have been less insulting.
My order finally shipped Mar 30… 13 days after the estimate… And I’m expecting to come back and edit this post to tell you all that they messed it up somehow!
Here’s more fun info: Their shipping is so stupid. $ 7 no matter how much you order, and then they ship it UPS SurePost (you know, that BS that gives you a UPS tracking # but then gets transferred to USPS for delivery, but always sits in between UPS and USPS in limbo for a few days). So if for some reason you just want to order a shirt for your kid they’re going to charge you $ 7, for shipping that ends up taking twice as long as it could if they just sent it via ONE carrier… I don’t know about you but I’d rather have fluctuating shipping rates, the less you order the less it is. Why would a shopper want to compensate someone else’s shipping who is ordering 10 things when they only want to order 1 thing? Let’s review: $ 7 for SUREPOST?! I’m an eBay seller and I don’t receive any shipping discounts. I charge a markup for the packaging I use which I buy per use at Staples and I know for a fact it doesn’t cost that much to ship anything unless it’s over 5 lbs… How are these thieves charging $ 7 to ship one t-​shirt? My current order has 11 items in it and weighs 3.5 lbs (I know this bc UPS tracking page says so), so I’m not complaining about $ 7 shipping… But I would never order JUST one thing from them — which doesn’t really matter now because I’ll never order from them again.
Final thoughts:
(They typically have their goods in hand so you do receive them sooner. Their customer service is second to none. They ship UPS.)
(They take orders, place orders, receive the goods then send to you — BUT in 2 years I’ve ordered 10 times and items are almost always on time, and if not they notify you and ask how you’d like to proceed — they also have WONDERFUL customer service)
(Much like Zulily in process. I have yet to deal with their customer service, items have always been received on time.)

Horrible! They don’t even contact the manufacturer until after you have placed your order; sometimes the manufacturer can’t fulfill the order which means that you’ll never get your product. The problem with this: Totsy doesn’t even tell you they can’t fulfill your order until after you make repeated attempts to call them. NEVER a live person, only a voicemail and never a return call or email. You MIGHT get your order, but you might not! Don’t even think about it if you want to order a present in time for a birthday, Christmas, etc. Heck, your kid might have even outgrown the item by the time you get it… if you ever do. Google «Totsy sucks» and check out all the issues people have had.

I really wish that I could give no stars.
Ordered two pairs of shoes for Christmas gifts about two months ago, Was just going through some stuff and realized that they had not arrived and I needed to ship them out this week to arrive by Chrstmas. Contacted Totsy three times and still have not received a complete response of where the items are, I strongly advise thinking twice as to using this website…
The customer service is no existent and they seem to respond selectively to emails. I think that rue la la or ideeli are the better options.

Loved Totsy as well until part of my order never arrived. I received no notice with the packing slip that is was backordered or simply not coming. After emailing the company I was told that the item had become unavailable and a credit would be issued for a return within 7 – 10 business days. This was November 2 and to date (over a month later) the credit still has not been issued. I have called 4 times and spoken to representatives who all promised a return within 24 hours, each time, nothing. I would spend the few extra dollars and purchase from a reliable company like Amazon, just not worth the headache.

Until today Totsy was my latest obsession.
They are an online website that offers significant mark downs on baby, kid, and mom gear from different companies each day. I have already purchased a bunch of stuff off the site with much success. In October they were offering rocking horses in the shapes of different animals and such. I purchased one for my daughter for Christmas. It was supposed to ship out November 19^th. When I didn’t receive email notification that it was shipping out last week I was worried, but with the Thanksgiving holiday just figured things may be running behind as it states estimated shipping date.
A few days ago I noticed this very same product being offered in another sale. That made me nervous so emailed totsy asking about my order. I received no response so today I called them. They said the order was cancelled. I should have been notified by e-​mail, which I wasn’t. I asked about the other sale and even though the customer service agent I spoke with was kind, caring, and responsive, they said there was no way for me to receive the item I had ordered. In all fairness they did credit me with $ 20 towards another future purchase and refund my money. I am super bummed about it and unfortunately even though they are doing what they can to right their wrong I still am unsatisfied that they didn’t go above and beyond.
Sometimes an apology isn’t enough. Hopefully Totsy will learn from this experience and not put another customer through the same thing.
