Toys R Us

This location is tiny but c’mon guys, it’s not all about size (yes, I am making a sexual reference in a Toys R Us review, what of it?)
However, the merch was pretty shoddy. Many of the larger toys had only one item available. And the boxes were damaged the majority of the time. I found a toy I wanted to buy — there were four of them. Three were damaged on the inside (the actual toys were not damaged but they had come detached from the cardboard and were just flopping around in the box). Not a huge deal but this is for a gift so I needed it to look presentable. The 4^th had an imperfection on the outside of the box — a bent piece. That seemed like the best option so I went with that one.
At the register, It turned out the toy I bought was on sale — marked 30 but I got it for 16. That was nice. Hooray for bargains!
Service was friendly.
Don’t expect much from this store. It’s in a convenient location and might work for a desperate or last minute gift. Especially now that the Broadway location has closed, this may be your best bet in midtown. The selection is small obviously but the quality of merchandise was the biggest disappointment.

small but apparently expanding. My kids still love it. I can’t wait for the new Manhattan store to open. I miss the Times Square Store already.

Small store. Nice staff. Second floor of the Manhattan Mall. Bargains. Seconds. Not bad, though.

Tiny store. Didn’t realize how small it was until I actually got there. Service was fine but beware, this store doesn’t deliver.
Not sure if that’s a USA thing or just this store.

Customer service is the last thing on their minds at this location… I just wanted to purchase Disney Infinity figurines for my niece and nephew and saw online they had a sell. I went in to ask about the sale and one of the employees told me they don’t follow stores and online sales, they didn’t even bother checking online or at least putting any interest of some sort for making a sale. I was very disappointed! You know what’s very interesting though? When I purchased the items online and set it to pick up at this location my order was processed no lie under 30 mins and it was ready for pick up. I got a printout from where I work walked in and got my stuff… I felt completely uncomfortable going in the second time. I find this completely ridiculous that I couldn’t get my items when I was in the store the first time… I had to order it online… This was so pointless… If I could give this store 0 stars I would…

Got look for the mall in side 2^nd floor if you got pick up a gift is not bad place price are not that bad

WORST Toys R Us ever! Pass it all the time while in Manhattan Mall but never go in unless I have to buy a gift. Got a circular for pre black Friday but this location doesn’t honor circular prices. A circular item which was advertised for $ 39.99 down from $ 54.99 was marked for and rang up for $ 59.99 in the store. The d*****bag disgruntled manager says they charge whatever the feel like despite what is advertised. I pointed out that I can order the same item online for in-​store pickup within an hour for advertised price (showed him on my tablet) and asked how long it would take to process. His response was anywhere from 5 hours to a week. NEVER EVER AGAIN! I rather pay double the price anywhere else than go to this location.

Made the stop here yesterday right before the Unilocal Jersey event. I was in the Manhattan Mall area and stopped to get the Toy for Tots Drive. I got a Barbie Beach Summer Doll. I hope someone does get to enjoy that during Christmas time. The lines were not that bad, considering it is only a few days to Christmas. I mean it was long enough, but honestly you expect some real chaos this time of the year. I thought some prices of other stuff seemed kinda high though, like the WWE figures– I know I HAVE seen them much cheaper at other places. Good to know the place is here in case I have to go back.
