I don’t know much about flowers but I look like someone with great taste because I have West Village Flower of New York in my contacts. I have never been anything but wowed with their arrangements. My mom actually found them first and sends me flowers from this shop every year for my birthday. They’re Korean so she can speak to them in Korean to place her order. They do a LOVELY job and people in my Wall Street office go bonkers for their floral arrangements because they are so creative and beautiful. I started sending flowers from them to my favorite co-​workers on their birthdays and everyone knows where they are from because the arrangements are distinctive and so unique!!! The ladies and gentleman on the phone are always nice and it is easy to place an order (in English) with them. All I ever have to do is specify the size (a small is about 8″ or 9″ square) and favorite color or colors and they do amazing work.

Nice small shop. Reasonably priced although it can quickly add up. The lady who helped me was friendly, attentive, and helped me work out what I wanted. They offer a good combination of cut flowers and plants; I needed a vase and they had a nice simple vase for only $ 7.

Love this local flower/​plant shop. Well priced, the flowers and plants are quality are top notch with amazing selection from all over. Even garden plants from the best nursery on the west coast. A dozen roses for $ 14.00. Love the owner and her daughter — they are so helpful and sweet and knowledgable. They feed my dog treats and my dog always wants to stop in to say hello.

This is a perfect neighborhood flower shop. Their cut flowers are always fresh and vibrant and I’ve had some of their potted plants for years. I go here frequently for gifts and they’re always well received. If I have a question about plant care the friendly staff is happy to help.

This is my favorite florist in the area. Their flowers are always beautiful and last a good amount of time. The store is tiny, but definitely charming. They usually have very pretty seasonal bouquets. This is my go to flower shop and have been going there for about seven years.

This triangle shaped corner store is the epitome of charming West Village architecture. Although diminutive, the well edited selections of flowers and plants dazzles the nature starved urban dweller.
The real bargain is after work bouquets for $ 6-​$ 10 that can cheer up an apartment for a last minute dinner party but I caution Unilocalers to stay away from the plants. I had my eye on a tiny moss covered topiary ($ 40) that died overnight. Despite calling the store beforehand, a return visit to the shop left me without a plant, credit, or advice on how to revive it. This is not a nursery so plants should not be expected to last long.
