From the minute I was led into the room the masseuse talked about how I had to pay a tip at the end and she continued to ramble on about how she doesn’t get paid much throughout the massage. The massage was great but the woman wouldn’t shut up until she got her tip at the end, which she was very happy about. I guess there are some cheapskates out there who tip based on what they paid for a Groupon voucher but that is no excuse for this behavior. The woman was extremely unprofessional and I was uncomfortable throughout the entire massage.

Update: Yes you all are good at what you do, but when you’re given a tip, don’t turn around, and ask if that’s all the tip you’re getting. It isn’t our fault that you don’t have any other bookings for the reminder of the day. We aren’t here to makeup (in tips) for the money you won’t be making from the lack of customers. The pair of you were given a $ 30 tip.

We were looking for good foot massage place after we got scammed by a couple of places in flushing Queens on main st (please do not even go there to get a massage)
Finally we found this place and tried 30mins ($ 20) to see how good they are.
Guess what? The best massage ever I had. We ended up extended to extra 30 more mins.
I decided to go there every once a week. I definitely recommend this place for everyone.
Btw, staff speak english and they are super friendly :)

I spent a day out with my family in Chinatown just doing some shopping and browsing. I heard about the inexpensive and plentiful massage therapy places in Chinatown and decided to get one that day. I came across several massage locations and decided to try this one out because of its cheap prices and also because they advertised the hot stones and heated tables. $ 40 for 1 hour massage? I usually spend $ 80 for 1 hour across the river. So I definitely had to try it out.
The guy in the front desk was very friendly and so was my massage therapist. My therapist talked to me for the initial 5 – 10 minutes of my massage, getting to know me, where I’m from etc, etc. I didn’t mind the small talk, but it felt slightly awkward trying to speak when my face is smushed inside a small hole in the table.
The massage itself was great — just the right amount of pressure, and she knew exactly what places needed more work on even without mentioning it (I have really bad muscular tension on the right side of my neck, shoulder, and upper back). The only reason why I give this place four stars was because the hot stones and towel were so hot I almost jumped out of the table! I mean eventually I got used to the warmth but for the first several seconds I tried so hard not to freak out. And I usually enjoy the hot stones and towel when I get a massage.
So my first massage experience in Chinatown was generally good. I would also like to try the other surrounding massage places as well. Since I’m not from around the area and taking the PATH just for a massage is a hassle for me, I probably won’t be a regular at this place. But if for any reason I’m in Chinatown again, I may come back here again.

$ 30 for 1 hour massage. The chairs are comfy and you just sink in. It’s not a fancy place but you will be relaxed after. It’s clean with no frills or thrills. If you pay by cash, you don’t have to pay tax but you do with card.
