Xtreme Lashes Eyelash Extensions

I was going to another person for lash extensions (Xtreme Lash Specialist) and became more unhappy after each visit. She only offered her clients three lash lengths and all of them were very thick. The lashes were so thick, stiff and rigid that they would easily pop off after a few days of wear. Also with lashes so thick, a few will fall off and look like you have a bald spot. Thick lashes feel very heavy on the eyelid– HEAVY.
Then magic happened…
This little princess went onto Unilocal and began a search for a new LASH FAIRY… KAPOW Michelle!
I went to her studio, close to Union Square/​Stuyvesant Town. Upon entering, I removed my shoes and got comfortable on the spa benches in the waiting area. I was inundated with the relaxing and calming aroma of lavender and eucalyptus essential oils. Being a first timer with Michelle she asked me many thorough questions while we sat on the benches. The questionnaire consisted of medical background (surgeries, allergies, etc). After filling out the form, Michelle sat with me in the waiting area to ask me what look I wanted to achieve. During the consultation, Michelle took her time to explain lash length, thickness, curvature and volume. Then she brought me to her room. I laid on a super comfy masseuse table top bed and began her magic. She let me feel the differences between the new lashes she would apply and the current ones that were on my eyelashes. Michelle was SUPER GENTLE and patient. This is truly a person who values and loves what they are doing like an artist to a blank canvas. I fell quietly asleep – SNORING. When I awoke I felt that I had been tricked until I looked in the mirror. I had a full set of lashes and they felt light as air. FULL SET LIGHT AS AIR. It was hard to believe how amazing my eyes looked with so much volume and it felt like she hadn’t attached a single lash.
Finally, I got so many compliments from my girlfriends on how pretty my eyes looked. Men at work told me that lately I looked extra pretty.
Although this is my first time, I will return again. She was worth the price and quality. I have had minimal shedding for a person in my profession (I work outdoors in the blazing sun, heat, sweaty all the time) to withstand, compared to the previous Lash gremlin I went to.

When I finally decided to fulfill my long-​overdue desire to try eyelash extensions, I settled with Michelle for many reasons. I was referred to Michelle through another eyelash specialist in the city and am soooo happy I met her! She took me on as a new client right away and have been going to her once a month (sometimes more) for almost a year now. I am not one to get beauty treatments done ever really… but once I got this done I was hooked. I’ve been to the ones like ebenezer before and this was so professionally done and lasts forever.
Michelle uses the best quality Xtreme Lashes and really listens to exactly how you want them done — length, width, weight, etc. She is super patient with you and glues each lash on individually — it’s like a relaxing spa treatment. After, you have beautiful, full, long lashes that last up to a month, sometimes longer. I never wear mascara (I was a eyelash curler/​mascara freak before) and hardly wear any eye makeup now — and that says alot having asian eyes. Although it is a little costly to keep up with monthly extensions, they last longer than any other place in the city and you never have to worry about mascara, raccoon eyes ever again.
I recommend Xtreme Lashes and Michelle to everyone who wants to cut their prep time in the morning in half, and look fabulous.

Prior to having my lashes done with Michelle, I would wear mascara almost on a daily basis to enhance my natural lashes. I had false eyelash extensions once from my salon, but the experiment was not successful. It was not pleasant to have my upper eyelids constantly poked by the lashes, thus I removed it. More recently, I was introduced to Latisse, which works but may be expensive and is not a semi-​permanent solution. Since my appointment last week, my eyes appear to be much brighter and smiling all the time! I love waking up in the morning with beautiful lashes!
